Chapter 9

Zach's POV:

Now, I would've thought that this secret would have kept me down, but telling Alex had to be the smartest thing I've done. I've never been happier yet more scared in my entire life.

Why scared, you may ask.

I've never loved anyone this much, he came and now he holds my heart hostage. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing. What if he cheats, what if he doesn't love me as much as he says he does. My brain is going into overdrive, and he's the only thing that making things hard on me. I don't want to lose him. Not now, anyway. Wait, we're not even in a relationship, not yet anyway. OMG, what's happening to me?

One thing is for sure,  I'm head over heels for him. I'm just hoping that this doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.

*The Next Day*

"Hey, Alex!" I say cheerfully.

"Hey, Zach...I was umm wondering if you'd like to come back to my place tonight? I have something I need to show!" Alex replied, nervously.

"OMG, why are you so nervous, and of course, I'll come by around 7:00 , is that okay?" I questioned.

"I don't know, I just really like you, and I don't wanna mess things up, and sure, sounds good!" He replies.

"Don't be nervous, just let things flow, and go at its own speed, things will just fall into place." I say.

"You're so sweet, which only makes me more nervous."

OMG he's blushing, its so cute when he's nervous, but why is he nervous, what is he thinking about, what is tonight all about?

"ZACH?" Alex yells, interrupting me from my thoughts.

"Umm, Yeah?" I answer.

"Stop zoning out and listen to me." He starts laughing "Sit with me at lunch, yeah?" He asks.

"Of course, I'll be looking for you."

The bell rings, signaling the start of 1st period, and we both groan.

"Well , I'll see you at lunch?" He asks.

"Lunch?, We sit by each other for 1nd period." I laugh.

"Oh yeah, right!, well I'll see you then!" He says and walks away rather quickly.

What is going on with him, we could've walked together. I mentally sigh and head into class.

Alex is seated in his spot next to mine, I sit down and Mrs. Robinson enters the class room.

"Well class , today we are ..."

I instantly zone out, and my thoughts go to the one and only , Alex!

I still can't figure out why he's acting so weird, like he has something to say, but doesn't know how. I hope its not bad. I hope he doesn't say that he likes someone else, what if it has something to do with that bitch, Lena?

Next thing I know someone elbows me, I look up to Alex smirking at me.

"Dude , are you okay, you look as if you've seen a ghost!" He asks.

"I'm fine, but are you okay?" I laugh.

"Yep, peachy!" He exclaims

"Hmm, okay, you acted kind of weird in the hallway!" I stated.

"Oh, my bad, I'm just letting my..."

"Alex, Zach, do you guys have something you'd like to share with the class?" Mrs. Robinson questions.
