Wyatt's POV:

I'm totally confused right now. I don't know what to do. It all started a couple of days ago at the skating rink when this guy openly flirted with me after the whole thing between Alex, Zach, and Lena. I was kinda pissed at everything and he came to talk to me.

*Flashback starts*

"Hey" he said.

"Ummm, Hi."

"What's a guy like you looking so pissed for?"

I looked at him and saw the most beautiful green orbs looking straight into my gray ones. I blushed.

"Well this just hasn't been my day." I said half-smiling.

"Any way I can make it better?" He asked with a cheesy grin.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not gay."

"So, what's wrong with trying to be nice to someone, that doesn't mean I'm flirting with you."

"Point taken."

"Well so what's on your mind?" He asked sincerely.

I know I'd be dumb to tell a random person about what goes on between me and my friends but I had no one else to talk to so I told him...everything.

"How do you feel about it?" He asked.

"Well to be honest I feel kind of bad I didn't say anything when I saw it coming from a mile away." I replied.

"But its not your fault, you didn't exactly know how things were gonna turn out. Yeah , you could've said something sooner, but it would have ended in the same result."

"Yeah, I know." I said, with my head cast down.

"Don't let something like this keep you down. I understand they're your best friends but everything happens for a reason." He said.

"Yeah I guess you're right. By the way, I never got your name."

He laughed.

"My names Max."

"Cool, I'm..."

"Wyatt, I know. Ive seen you around school, but you never noticed me, to my disappointment." He replied, confidently.

"Ahhh, so you are flirting with me?" I ask surprised.

"I wasn't at the time , but that didn't mean I wasn't going to." He smirked.

I giggled. Wait I don't giggle.

"Did you just giggle?" He asked, laughing.

"No." I said defensively.

"Yeah, you did." He said in between laughter.

"OK so what if I did?"

"Nothing, I just thought only gay guys giggle."

"Well I wouldn't know cause I'm not gay."

"You may not be, but you never know. It takes the right guy to bring it out."

"What does that mean?"

"You'll figure it out soon enough."

"No, tell me." I said.

"Can't, I gotta go."

When he said that I got a little sad, I actually wanted to keep talking to him for some odd reason.

"OK, I'll see you around, Max." I said, looking down.

Then what he said next had me very surprised.

"Can I have your number, Wyatt?"

"Are you gonna tell me what you meant?"

"Maybe."

I laughed and gave him my number, and he left the rink.

*Flashback Ends.*

Ever since then, we've been texting and I don't know whether I like the guy as friends or more. This is totally confusing.

How do guys do this. I haven't even told Alex yet, or Taylor. I could care less about Lena. What she did was wrong. I may forgive her later, but right now, I don't see the slightest chance.

"Wyatt?" Zach questions.

"Yeah?"

"Dude, you've been zoned out for the past 10 minutes, are you OK?"

"Yeah, just thinking about stuff."

"Want to talk about it?" Zach asked.

"No its okay."

My phone started ringing, but it was a the way in my dresser by Zach.

"Can you grab that for me? What does it say.?

" Sure." He grabs my phone. "It says you're getting a call from Max."

I rush and grab my phone, and hurriedly answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, you doing anything tonight?"

"No. Why?"

"Let's hang out, yeah?" He asked hopefully.

"Sure."

"Great, meet me at the park, at about 7, we could shoot hoops or something."

"Cool. see you then."

"Bye."

"Bye."  I hang up.

I look at Zach, who had a questioning look on his face then the question came.

"Who's Max?"

"Just a friend I met at the skating rink. He want to shoot hoops later."

He looked at me like he wanted to say something, but quickly looked away.

"Okay, let's get back to work."

"Sounds good."

30 minutes later we were finished with our project on Abe Lincoln, finally, and Zach was about to leave for his date with Alex. I was kind of jealous of the relationship they had, but I was very happy for Alex. Maybe I'll be that happy too.

"Well I'll see you later." I said.

He eyed me carefully.

"Look, I don't know what's going on with you but I think you should talk to Alex about it. Does it have something to do with this Max character?" He asked.

I blushed, damn he noticed.

His mouth formed in an O shape and he nodded his head.

"You're confused, aren't you?"

I stayed silent.

"You know, when you don't speak, that's when you say the most, and you haven't told Alex yet, have you?"

"No, not yet, cause I'm not sure."

"Well all I can say is test the water. If you like it, go for it, if you don't, there's always another pond."

To my surprise I actually got that saying.

"Thanks, Zach, and keep this between us. I'll tell Alex when I'm actually sure."

"No prob. I'll see you later."

"See ya."
