When we entered the house, we could hear the faint voices of my mom and another lady. I saw an old human lady on a rocking chair talking to my mom.
Mom?
My mom turned around, tears were eminent in her eyes. She wiped them away quickly. "Say hi to your Aunt Amy."
WHAT? I'M HUMAN?
"No no no, Sophie was just an elf embryo implanted in human while I was just purely human." Amy said.
"Amy found out about elf stuff when the Neverseen kidnapped my parents. She also happens to be kind of the human ambassador, being the only human to know about elves." My mom explained.
I rubbed my temples. Why is my life so complicated?
"This is what you get for being related to people in the Black Swan." Zee ran his hand through his hair. "Why did you bring us here Aunt Sophie?"
"I brought you both here to apologize for not being open to you. To Kepler, I apologize for not being a good parent. To Zee, I'm sorry for bringing you into all of this."
It's okay Mom. I gave her a big hug.
"Just don't have secrets and hidden messages with our parents, it is so annoying." Zee smirked.
"No promises." My mom crossed her arms.
"Sophie is always hiding secrets but you can always get stuff out of Fitz, he's easy to read." Amy wheezed.
"I think it's time to go kids, see you soon Amy!" Mom rushed us out.
I'll get dad for you, whenever you need it. I whispered too Zee.
"Focus." My mom interrupted as we grabbed on to her arms.
