We reached home just as dad lept home with mom. They were holding a Blue Pathfinder which meant they were in the Forbidden Cities. Probably doing stuff for the Council, or the Black Swan. Probably not the latter since Keefe would be with them if they did. Keefe was one of the Collective and usually worked with mom and dad.

Hey mom. Hey dad. Why were you in the Forbidden Cities?

"Nothing much, the Council just suspected that there was elvish activities." Mom sighed. "I still wish that the Council would let us check in with Silveny and her children. The Council still haven't figured out who managed to get in."

Geez. They still haven't? It has been so long.

"Yeah, I wish they would just let us investigate." Dad ran his fingers through his hair. "Oh hi Zee, what are you doing."

"Hi Uncle Fitz, I was helping Zee with his homework, now that I don't have school." Zee bit back a sob.

"There are other schools to join." Mom mentioned.

"Nah, I can just help my uncles and aunt out at the prank store." Zee said rather unconvincingly.

"Right." Dad raised an eyebrow. "Anyways Sophie we need to discuss something."

I heard a strange humming and a snap as my mom and dad clasped hands. Another secret conversation. I sighed.

We need to discuss something too Zee, regarding the Universe homework. I smirked at Zee.

"Right. Your 'homework'." Zee grabbed my arm and pulled my upstairs to my room.

Zee slammed the door behind me and snapped his fingers and the bottles appeared. I dug out the Photroscope and shone the jars again, hoping slightly that I would magically understand what it was meant to signify.

What on earth does it mean??

"Don't ask me, I have as little clue as you do. Maybe they want us to dance?" Zee shrugged. "Anyways, what on earth is the blue waltz?"

They made us do it in school for Arts.

"You mean the one with Lady Belva?"

Mine was Sir Rordan, though it was so awkward when he forced me to dance in front of him.

"Good thing I don't need to dance with you. This is a single person dance right?"

Yeah, but I don't remember how to do it. I don't have photographic memory like my mom.

"I really would hate to call Lady Belva for the dance moves she seems kinda flirty around me."

You are pretty good looking, admit it any girl would fall for your cute dimples and teal eyes, you got the best of both parents.

"Could we just get back on track?" Zee smacked my arm.

Fine, we'll call Sir Rordan but you'll have to talk to him. I grabbed my Imparter.

  "Show me Sir Rordan."

Edit from the future: my uncloseted gayass can now see how homoerotic my writing was. Like wth i wasn't intending on making them cousins at first lol so maybe i shouldve kept it that way
