Twenty-Four

{Mitch's POV}

When I got home, I went straight for my room. Scott followed behind and we laid on my bed together.

"6 months." I said quietly.

"Huh?" Scott asked, looking up at me.

"6 months till our wedding." I smiled wide at him as he smirked at me.

"That's true. Kirstie will hopefully have her baby by then."

"Hopefully. Emerald Ava Lewis. She's gunna be one lucky baby."

"Yeah she is. With Kirstie as mother? She's gunna be great."

"I wanna have kids someday." I said nervously. I meant it, though. I wanted Scott and I have to kids together so bad.

"You do?" He looked up at me with a confused look on his face that quickly turned to a smile.

"Yes. I do."

"Me too. Maybe someday. After we get married obviously."

"6 months." I restated.

{Kirstie's POV}

"You're naming her Emerald Ava?" The doctor asked.

"Yes, we are."

"I think it's a beautiful name for your little girl."

"Thank you." I was just getting another check up on her again. I was already 6 months away from having her. I couldn't wait to hold Emerald in my arms.

Jeremy and I got home and I desperately wanted to take a bubble bath.

"Jeremy?"

"Yeah Kirst?"

"I'm gunna take a bubble bath, okay?"

"Let me get it running for you."

"That's okay. I can do it."

"Nope. I won't allow my pregnant wife to start her bubble bath on her own."

I chuckled at his cute remark, "Okay."

I got in the greatly bubble filled bath and just relaxed for a minute. I was starting to stress about this baby, not that I don't want her, because I do. But I was worried I wouldn't be a very good mother, what with being in Pentatonix. Always having to travel and leave home. I already hate leaving Jeremy, I can't leave my baby too.

"Mitch? I'm scared." I had called Mitch after my bath to talk to him about my worries.

"Why are you scared, Kirst?"

"I'm scared for this baby."

"Why?"

"She's gunna grow up without a mother. I can't do it."

"Why would she grow up without you, Kirstie?"

"I'm always away from home. I leave Jeremy all the time, I don't wanna leave Emerald too."

"True. But I'm sure it'll be different with her. Jeremy can't go with you because he works, Emerald has no reason why she has to be home."

"So your saying Johnathon will let me bring her on tours with us?"

"I'm not Johnathon so I don't know for sure. But I'm sure he wouldn't keep you away from your daughter."

"Yeah. You're right. But then I'm keeping her away from Jeremy."

"Kirstie. I think you need to talk to Jeremy about what you're feeling."

"Why? He'd be mad at me."

"He wouldn't be mad at you Kirst. He loves you and understands what you're going through. He may not be carrying the baby, but he does love her just as much."

"You know, I think I will talk to him. Thanks Mitchie."

"You're very welcome, Kirstie. I love you."

"I love you too, Mitch. Say hi to Scott for me."

"Ha, yeah I will."

"Bye."

"Bye."

{Scott's POV}

Mitch was at Starbucks getting our usual and I was sorting out plans for our wedding. It was only months away and we still had things to do. I was starting to stress myself with all the plans because I want it to be absolutely perfect. I know us getting married is already perfect, but I didn't want it to look ugly. Mitch probably wouldn't allow that anyway, but still.

"Scotty!" Mitch knocked me out of my thoughts when he pushed open the door with his foot.

"Why do you have so much stuff?" He had a bunch of stuff in his arms. Coffee, most important. A huge box, a little box, and then what seemed to be our lunch.

"Well, I'm feeling too lazy to make lunch so I got us some. Also our coffee, most important," we're so alike, "and these boxes are for me."

"What did you buy offline now?"

"Ugh. Nothing, it's a surprise."

"Tell me." I climbed up on his bed and put my head in his lap.

"No. Don't beg, it's not hot."

"It's not?" I said sarcastically.

"You're always hot, you know that. Just wait a bit and you'll find out."

"Is it for me?"

"You'll have to wait. Anyway, I wanna go out with you."

"Movie and dinner?"

"Exactly what I had in mind."
