You run home, desperate to catch even a small glimpse of Darrel's alluring face. Quickly typing up the link for Twitch, you stumble across him in all his glory. "Darrel el Épico Gaymer," was the name of his profile. His profile picture stopped your heart. His toothy grimace of what you would call a charming smile was the most beautiful thing this world had ever seen. In his bio, he listed his favourite games.
Your heart pounced- all of the games he had listed were all of *your* favourites- Club Penguin, Lord Of The Rings Online, LPS Adventures, Fortnite and Animal Jam. He was everything you've ever wanted and more. You could feel the rush. The adrenaline- You felt as powerful as Shaggy. You felt as strong as the boys in the locker room. You felt as though this power of love could bring you anywhere. Your dream of finding a gamer girlfriend/boyfriend finally came true. Glancing at your inbox, you notice a message in your inbox.
Eagerly, you open a new tab, opening your messages. "Hola, woueld duoes it's dinenrer?" it read. It was sent by Darrel. Your heart raced at the sight of his name. Shaking excitedly, you respond "Yes! Of course- how does 6:30 PM sound? I'll book a table," You wait patiently for a response. After waiting for what felt like forever, your computer buzzed. "si epico," his message read. Dinner was planned. Your heart was full. You were more ready than ever.
