3rd POV
Aru laid on the bed, his legs crossed and tie slightly loosened. Exactly as some tired CEO would look when they plopped on their bed. He held his phone dangerously parallel to his face, scrolling through his contacts. Many including myself, Author chan, would fear that he'd drop the phone on his face at any second. But he won't. Simply because he's Aru.
Once Aru got to a certain contact, he clicked on it and waited for the recipient to pick up. Once they did, a stern yet old voice said, "Akise? What business do you have calling me?" Just from that sentence Aru pictured the 60-or-so-old man with red hair and his beard. "Sorry, Lieutenant. I know it's late but I have something to tell you. Can you tell the force that's investigating the Gasai residence the day after tomorrow to cease all progress?" "What for, son?" the police lieutenant replied, needing justification from the croaky sounding detective. "It appears that Gasai-san isn't buying the wedding plan, and I'm not prepared for the second idea. She probably won't buy me trying to get her occupied a second time." Sighing, the lieutenant replies, "Alright. Our end wasn't so ready either." Aru rubbed his eyes, knowing he'd fall asleep if he remained on the bed, but he decided to stay in his comfortable position. "The option of me sneaking in when she leaves is still open, will you allow me to do that instead?" Aru says. "That's fine. If you can't manage by the weekend, we'll move on our own. Make sure you get some sleep son, you're talking different." the lieutenant replied, slightly concerned. "R-right... have a good evening." Aru says, now realizing he needed to sit up so he doesn't fall asleep.
After ending the call with the authorities, he scrolled to the next contact he was ordered to call. She missed the first call. And the second. Somehow by some fate, on the ninth call she finally answered, yelling, "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT YOU LITTLE SHIT!?" Aru's eyes slightly widened, and he stirred. "Come to where I am tomorrow. Five o' clock is a good time." Aru almost felt Ninth's brows furrow when she replied, "Why should I?" "Think about it as a temporary future alliance." Aru states, breaking his posture by slumping down. Ninth sneered and said, "I don't have a dead end flag, and we definitely don't share a common one. Sayoon—" "I'll just have to call Nishijima san then." he says, getting the last word in.
Ending the call himself, he told Nishijima about the current situation. Aru painted a story in which Yuno demanded for him and Ninth to show up tomorrow or else (Y/n) and Yukiteru would be harmed. It wasn't exactly false, but Aru explained it to pull on Nishijima's heart strings.
Just as his thumb hit the power button, that right he got no flip phone, not even no galaxy fold, the door slowly opened. A (e/c) eye peeped into the room and made eye contact with Aru. "Akise san... Haha told me to tell you it's time for dinner..." the innocent child says, their eye peering at Aru with curiosity. Somehow managing to give a smile, Aru tells her, "I'm on my way. I'll follow you." She nodded and pushed the door wider for him and went on her way, completing her task for her beloved mother.
Aru took a second to massage his temples, and stared at nothing. He gulped and put his head down. "Creations for a game... (Y/n)'s form changing with a snap... being used by a god..." he mutters, his mind turned into slop. His now fragile voice questions, "Why... does it have to be so complicated..? It would've been easier to pick a god instead of pitting all of us against each other. Some god. Wanting the best killer to rule the world." At the end of his thought-gathering, his gaze was piercing through the house. That's right. Why did Deus go about it this way? His brows furrowed. In his mind he had made a new vow after recognizing the wrong doings done to him and (Y/n).
His eyes widen when he realized he lost his focus for too long. Quickly getting up, he scuttles out the door and to the dining room. Aru hadn't even realized he haven't ate today.
During dinner, it was relatively quiet. Though at some point they told each other to drop the formalities when addressing one another.
Finally, the day was over. Aru plopped on the bed and took a deep breath. Not even 5 minutes after shutting his eyes for a bit, a firm knock echoed through his room. Sighing, he called out, "Come in." Yuno opened the door and shut it behind her. She was in collar pajamas, and her hair was in a bun. Aru notes that she looked motherly... in some fashion. Draped over her arm was a towel, probably her excuse to visit him.
"I'll be dealing with the first part of with the Sevenths deaths tomorrow. Deus is nearing his end. I'll be able to fool him with my power in a few more weeks." she states handing him the towel. Aru could only muster a nod. Yuno fixes her eyes on his face and continued, "I saw that you completed your task. Five works out just fine." Aru nods again and says, "I figured as much." His eyes were now closed. Yuno only blinked at him, and finally says, "Next you'll be using Yuniku to fool Eighth. But of course you'll need to hold back until I finish up my work with the Seventh's." "R..right." Aru mutters, now laying down. And just like that Aru K.O'd leaving Yuno slightly confused.

(A/n): Heyyo! Thanks for reading this chapter. For some transparency, I've obviously been making this story up as I went. So it's quite understandable on my part if you decide to remove this from your library due to plotholes are anything like that. Nevertheless, I do intend on finishing this story and that'll likely happen in a few months.
