"FIGHT YUNIKU!"

Fight Yuniku... Time felt like it froze after her command. That's right. My soul wasn't set to experience a true life this time around. My wounds were healed, but the meteors were still inching towards me. At least the speed was much slower. The lilac light started to take form, and I extended my hand out of curiosity. The light engulfed me, but again it wasn't unpleasant. It held the same warmth as it did all those years ago. As I lowered my hand, I was reverted back to my normal age and natural appearance.

The flaming ball was still inching closer, but I didn't feel it's inferno anymore, just my own warmth. Putting my hands over my chest, I felt my core being activated. In an attempt to monitor it, I closed my eyes and felt it work it's magic. Opening them, my appearance had changed, but it wasn't far off from my old form. I patted my head and felt a small jewel and flower crown. My clothing is nearly the same as my creator's, but it's structure is more relative to a dress. Taking a few steps, I notice there were slits in the dress for my legs to move. Among that, my right arm started to be weighed down. Upon inspecting it, I notice a sword beginning to take form.

The temperature around me started rising dramatically. Time started moving at it's regular pace. I only have a few seconds to react! Bracing myself with a sense of urgency, and holding the sword upright, I tilt it back.

"Show me what you're capable of," I whisper pleadingly.

When the meteor neared, I gave my all and swung. I looked at were the meteor once was, and saw a purple light pushing it back until it's pigment tripled, which caused the meteor to collapse into itself.

"...Was... that really me?" I ask myself, my voice echoing my disbelief.

I stared at the now purple glimmer in the sky, until I heard a pained moan behind me.

Quickly facing the source, Yukiteru whimpers, "It hurts! It hurts so much!"

I ran up to him and kneeled to inspect his injuries closer. He had a few pebbles lodged in his leg, and pink burns across his face. Out of my new instinct, I extend my hand and summoned the purple light again. This time it healed him.

'My ability has multiple functions,' I smile.

But then, I thought something. What of the others!? During my internal panic, I whipped my head to face everyone else. My creator was on the floor looking weakened. She seems to have taken damage from both Deus and my activation. Ninth was hurt, and it's possible she lost a limb. And though I couldn't quite see it, I could make out the Eighth being helped by her apprentices.

"Where's...?" I mutter, pulling my hand back since Yukiteru's done healing.

My heart beat quickened uncontrollably. Feeling like something's off, I quickly stand up to turn in all directions. Taking another step to the right, I finally see it. His fluff of white hair and blue clothing dashing up to me.

"Aru..." my heart aches more as his form draws closer.

His expression was serious, but I could see the pain and happiness right behind it. Tearing up, I hear his struggled breathing as he finally takes me into his arms. His embrace was warm and extremely tight, but I didn't care about that. In fact, I wanted him to hold me like this forever. Crying into his chest more, I shakily put my sword into it's scabbard at my right thigh.

His grip tightened more around my waist, "(Y/n)... I missed you so much. I thought... I didn't think you'd..."

"It's okay, Aru," I whisper, rubbing circles on his back. His voice is so strained, it's almost more angst than his actual voice... I didn't like that at all. It simply wont do. Closing my eyes to channel my energy, I adjusted my palms and worked to heal him. Aru remained quiet and still, relaxing more as his energy came back and the pain left.

Sensing his wounds were gone, Aru slightly pulled back and looked down into my eyes with tears in his own, "I missed you..."

"I missed you too," I wiped his tears, "I didn't feel complete without you. There was always something missing during those times..."

"I'm sorry..." he whispers, caressing my cheeks.

"You have nothing to apologize for..."

'He doesn't know,' I leaned on him more, resting my head lightly onto his chest, "It would seem like that god is frowning upon us..."

Aru looked up and notices Deus' glare, and returned his own look, "Muru Muru is smirking at us. Actually, she's helping Yuno up at the moment."

Snapping into realization once again, I remember Eighth's and Ninth's injuries.

"Give me a moment!" I abruptly peeled myself away from Aru.

I instantly regretted it when I saw his saddened expression. "Just... a moment..." I winced at him, but he only nods and takes out my phone, facing the opposite direction.

"Aru..." I whisper, unable to take his sadness.

Deciding that my heart wasn't strong enough, I flung myself back at him, hugging his back. He stiffened, but he slacked onto me.

"Sorry, Aru..."

He dryly chuckled, "Don't worry about it... do what you have to."

"You're not mad..? Or depressed, or petty about me leaving you?"

"All of the above actually," he smirks, tilting his head back to look at me.

"I... need to heal them..." I say, conflicted.

"Go ahead," he says quietly, leaning back into my form even more.

Reddened by his actions, I force my eyes closed and mapped out Ninth's and Eighth's distance and location. Shutting my eyes even more until I felt my cheeks, I focused my energy on the two again. I imagined how far my magic had to travel, and how long it would take.

"You're magic is... pretty," Aru mutters, confirming that it's working.

Even though the spell wasn't complete, I slowly opened my eyes and saw my magic heal the injured.

Aru pushes my arms back and turned to face me. No, behind me. I turned around to see what he saw.

My eyes quickly landed on my creator holding Yukiteru in pain, whispering sweet nothings into his ear. I looked at her with an empathetic glance.

I direct towards her, "He'll be okay."

She didn't budge, but Aru place an arm over my shoulders, "Don't feel for her."

His voice was grim. The source of Aru's despair was my creator... only if he knew of the other ways she faulted us...

"I don't think I can..." my creator whispers.

"I can't lose Yukki..."

"I won't lose Yukki."

Yuno directs her angry psycho glare towards Aru and I, and I drew my sword in response.

"Uh—Ugh!"

"ARU!"
