Imagine being followed by Adam (part 2)

[I am into the spirit of the Halloween season, so as a treat, I have decided to do another part to this imagine. And mostly as you have asked for it to be continued too. So here it is. Enjoy]

Adams POV

I watched the girls terrified eyes roll back into her head as she passed out. I move from my seat behind her and sit next to her, letting her unconcious body rest on me. The driver is oblivious to all that's happened, which is a good thing. I take this same route every month or so when I know supply is running low, and whoever sits in the seat in front of me is my chosen prey. Of course, as they dose off on the bus, I force them to have the nightmare, so when they wake up and see me behind them, they always pass out. I press the stop button and put my arm around the girls waist, pulling her up, her head falling back onto my shoulder. The driver stops and I slip off the bus, carrying her with me out into the dark street. The lightning from the sky helps illuminate the path through to where I have parked my car; secluded behind an empty house. Opening the passenger door, I place the girl inside in the seat. I know I have to work quickly, as she could wake up, not that she's be able to get away or call for help, as there is no one around for miles. I take her small hand in mine, watching the blood drip from the small cut on her finger. God, she smells so good I thought to myself, and looks too good to eat. I bring the cut to my lips and suck the blood clean off her. I pull back, making sure not to get carried away; although I could still drain her from the small cut, it would take too long, and be more painful for her. I let her blood linger on my lips, savouring it's taste, before swallowing it down. Already I can feel my fangs growing hungry, the urge to bite her growing, but something didn't seem right. Her taste was delicious, but there was a cold bitter aftertaste, almost like iron, or sulphur. Sure enough, a few seconds later, my stomach gave a horrible lurch, and I was forced to gag it back up. Coughing, wiping the blood away, I cursed, looking back at the girl. Although she might appear pure, her blood wasn't; poisoned, just like the rest of the zombies. Contaminated blood was deadly to vampires, especially if they fed on it. Sighing, I look at the girl as she stirs, moaning in her sleep. I didn't want to kill her, not when she is this beautiful, so I guess that I'm going to have to take her back home. Grabbing a small bit of rope of of the glove compartment, I tie her hands together in her lap, before securing the seat belt around her; I didn't want her to try anything stupid by panicking when she wakes up. I gently close the door and head round to the other side. I start the car up and drive off down the road, occasionally glancing over to look at her a she started to wake up, wondering what to do next.

Your POV

Your eyelids felt heavy as your head rested against the window, the vibrations waking you up as it drove along the road. You looked out at the passing dark landscape, watching it go by, before closing your eyes again. What a horrible dream you thought, remembering running from a man who wanted to kill you. And then how you'd dreamt him being behind you on the bus. You sat there with your eyes closed, your mind thinking, listening to the engine of the car. You stopped mid thought; you were on the bus, so why were you wearing a seat belt? Immediately your eyes flew open as you looked down, a growing panic and confusion filling you. You were strapped into a car seat, with your hands tied in front of you, driving along the dark roads. You head throbbed, your neck hurt, and your finger felt like it had been drained off life completely. You gulped, not wanting to look who was driving, but you already knew who your captor was, and dreaded what was to come. "Let me go", you whispered, your voice dry and cracked as you felt yourself wanting to cry as you started to tremble. Adam stopped the car, causing you to jolt forward in your seat and switched off the engine. You turned to look at him fearfully, your eyes locking onto his cold grey ones, his face half hidden in the dark. "Please", you whispered pleadingly to him. His grip tightened on the steering wheel as his jaw clenched, frowning as he looked at you. "Why? What do you think I'm going to do?", he asked coldly, glaring at you. You shuffled in your seat, fidgeting with the ropes on your wrist. "You're going t-to kill me", you cried, trying to move away from him. "No, I'm not". "You're lying!", you spat at him with tears in your eyes, not wanting to fall into his mind game. Adam sighed, dropping his hands into his lap and turned in his seat to look straight at you. Another crack of lightning filled the sky and you saw his face, his eyes serious. "No Y/N, I'm not. I was going to, but I'm not now". You gulped, unsure whether to believe him or not. "Why? Vampires always kill whoever they want, what makes you different?", you asked him uncertain. He sighed, staring off into the distance, as if every kill was passing through his mind. "I kill to live. You were just going to be like all of the others before. I choose my victim, cause them to go mad and collapse. I carry them off into the darkness then drain them. Once I've gotten rid of the body, no one notices for a few days they're missing. None of them any the wiser that getting the last bus at night could be the last thing you do". He stopped, biting his lip as his eyes looked at you again, before continuing. "I thought you would be the same. Clean, easy kill. Only your blood is poison. Contaminated. Essentially a kiss of death for a vampire". You looked at him confused as his eyes glinted hungrily at you briefly. "So I can't drink you Y/N. And I didn't want to kill you", Adam said finally, turning away, gripping the steering wheel. "But what happens to me now?", you asked nervously, your heart pounding in your chest as you trembled. "I've seen you. I know you. I know who and what you are". Adam bit his lip in thought, which only made you more nervous. "You're going to kill me now aren't you!", you cried in realisation, and began trying to escape. "No!", Adam roared violently, causing you to flinch and freeze in what you were doing. "No, I'm not going to kill you Y/N", he said more quietly this time, as he started the car engine. "W-what then?", you whispered shaking. Adam looked over at you and you saw the sorrow and hurt in his eyes. "I'm taking you home", he said finally as he began to drive, quickly gaining speed. "What?! Home, with you?!", you cried in alarm, realising he was now kidnapping you. No matter how much you pleaded to Adam to let you go, he remained silent for the drive, leaving you to weep. Eventually he pulled up around the back of a large boarded up house and killed the engine. You began crying hysterically now, realising that no one was ever going to find you here. Adam came around and opened your door and you tried to move away, which was pointless as the seatbelt kept you stuck. "Please, Adam, just let me go!", you screamed as he dragged you from the car. You tried hitting him with your tied hands, digging your heels into the ground, anything to make him stop. He sighed in frustration and slung you over his shoulder, carrying you kicking and screaming into the house. Opening a door, he descended down steps into an old rotting windowless basement, with a mass of cables snaking around everywhere. He put you down onto the floor as he switched on the single hanging light from the ceiling. You blinked at the sudden brightness, as you took in the room. Adam went over to the corner and opened the solid wooden door, letting you see the small empty room beyond. "Please, don't do this. I swear, I promise, I won't tell anyone you exists. No one will know. Just please, please let me go", you pleaded to him on your knees as he stalked back over to you. He looked solemnly down at you, shaking his head. "I'm sorry Y/N. I have let that happen too many times and people have broken their promise. I didn't want to have to hunt them and their families down and kill them, but they left me no choice. I don't want to have to do that with you", he said sadly, lifting up your chin. This was it, you thought; I'm never going to see the light of day ever again. You leapt to your feet and ran towards the stairs, but Adam was quicker, and already had his hand around your waist, lifting you off the floor as you kicked out and screamed. "No! Please!", you screamed, fighting with all your might as he carried you over to the smaller room. He threw you inside, causing you to hit your head on the wall, collapsing to the floor in pain. You blinked back tears as Adam towered over you in the doorway, blood running down your forehead. "You are an evil sin. A sin that once I have found a way to cure your contamination, I will enjoy drinking your beautiful form dry", he said, baring his fangs hungrily at you. All you could do was scream in terror, knowing your fate was sealed as he slammed the door shut, locking you inside, trapped as his living prey.
