28 - New Contender

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" The bright red head asked, worry tracing his features. I gave a soft smile and nodded.

"Of course. You don't need to worry, Kiri. I'll be fine." He paused for a moment, a light blush making its way onto his cheeks.

"Kiri?" He asked quietly, staying almost completely still. I started to inwardly panic. Did he not like the little nickname? Shoot, he must not.

"I'm sorry! I just thought-"

"I like it." He finished, cutting me off, which was good for me in a way. He beamed a smile, showing his sharp, shark like teeth. A sharp whistle made the male whip his head around.

"Let's go shitty hair! And you! Don't die." Bakugou growled, making Kiri sweat drop. He glanced back and gave a frown, looking back to me.

"Guess that's my que. Be safe, princess." He whispered, his cheeks tinting a faint red. I chuckled as he walked off, watching as he nervously glanced over his shoulder at me. I also saw Kaminari give a stern look to the red head before smiling and waving to me.

"See you tonight, Angel!" He cheered, making Bakugou growl at him. He didn't seem to care, however. I watched as the trio bolstered their guns and other various things, such as combat knifes under their dress pant legs. Bakugou and Kirishima wore tuxedos while Kaminari opted for his usual suspenders and bow tie, looking quite adorable.

I flinched as someone bumped into my shoulder as they walked past. Sero threw a smug diamond shaped smile over his shoulder as he winked, going to group up with the boys. Grinning, I watched as they exchanged a few words and walked out the door, a few waves from the males and a grin from the only pink skinned female.

The door closed, leaving me alone for the first time. I looked at my attire, ready to start my own trip. Sero had volunteered to lend me some clothes, dispite the arguments from the other males. So, I wore a purple dress shirt with yellow suspenders. I wore some black shorts that would have went up to my knees, had I not pulled them up to my waist, so now they sat at my thighs. I wore my own shoes, which were purple sneakers.

I walked over to the door, making sure to lock it before stepping into the elevator. I had a vague plan in my mind, one that I wasn't sure of completely. First, I wanted to go to Todoroki's place, just to let them know I'm okay and not completely imprisoned. They must think I was murdered or something by the way Bakugou captured me.

Then, I would walk back to my apartment and scare Kishi. Hopefully, he's home and awake. In any case, I could just wait until he came back. I just hope he hasn't eaten everything in the fridge, because knowing him, he'll just blow all of his money on sweets and junk food. I usually do the shopping for that exact reason.

The last time I sent him out for grocery shopping, he bought three tubs of ice cream, a bag of candy, a couple cases of fizzy drinks and other diabetes inducing foods. Needless to say, I was the one who did the food shopping after that.

Looking up, I found myself outside the looming skyscraper that was my first destination. Walking though the front doors, I made my way to the elevator, and so forth heading upwards. Halting, the doors opened to reveal the office level, revealing a figure searching through papers on the desk.

Muttering something inaudible, the figures crazy lavender hair started to bounce around, bopping to the movement of his head. I tilted my head, confusion growing on my features. Who was this guy? Was he with Todoroki? Stepping forwards, I guessed I would find out.

"Hey there, who are-" the person abruptly whipped around, holding a hand up as frenzied purple eyes stared solely into mine. For some reason, I felt disoriented, like I lost all feeling in my body. I was unable to move or speak, even blink as the male walked slowly over to me, a curious look about in his eyes.
