Kestrel's P.O.V

I didn't realise I was crying until Ash said exasperatedly "Oh no, please no. Not you to, Kestrel please don't cry. You will start sobbing and then I'll have to comfort you and I am not good at comforting people, especially people I don't know well." It was something Raksha would say that I burst into tears sobbing.

"Th-this i-i-i-is all you-your fault." I sobbed. Ash smirked and hugged me. Thought you said you weren't good at comforting people. I sent

I'm not but Todd needs to focus on the road. Ash replied smirking. I replied by sending a very visual image of the multiple was I would have painfully killed him if he was not Raksha's brother.

"Relax, I'm only Joking, Raksha will be fine. Knowing her she probably had worse." Ash said comfortingly. Weirdly enough, it made me feel a lot better. When I finally stopped crying I thanked Ash who responded by 'gallantly' bowing and mumbling my pleasure. The idiot.

"All right we're here!" Todd yelled. I still didn't trust him. Out of the group of conscious people I trusted Ash the most, I don't trust this guy. I sent to Ash.

Good, it's nice to know that you're not the only one paranoid. So, do we let them heal Raksha then take them out, or just take 'Todd' out? Ash replied instantly.

I don't know...Option 1 I guess. I answered.

"Damn." Ash swore under his breath.

"Excuse me?" Todd asked.

"I stubbed my toe." Ash replied lying flawlessly. But I knew why he swore. I would have wanted to take out 'Todd' too if not for the fact I did not know how to heal and obviously Raksha needed a healer. Mathew carried Raksha out and followed 'Todd'. The humans were just too trusting. Sighing I followed them and walked into the healers room and sat next to Raksha, Ash by my side. To stop myself from getting a panic attack, I decided to talk to Ash and calm myself down. While the healer worked I got to know Ash more and more and he seemed like a nice guy.

The healer had worked on Raksha for a few hours. After wiping sweat of his brow, he passed out. The healer needed a healer...Ironic. I sensed he was going to die unless he got some energy, not like I cared. Even if I did care, I could not help him but-unfortunately- Ash had to help the healer. I still didn't know why but this place still crept me out.

At nine o'clock Ash had to practically drag me out to eat something. "You need to eat." He kept telling me but I was not hungry. A girl rushed by and bumped into Ash.

"Hey!" He yelled.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry. I didn't watch where I was going." The girl said apologetically and gave Ash a flirty smile. A surge of jealousy flooded through me. What was wrong with me? Angry at myself, I mercilessly went through the girls mind to find out where to get some food from and rushed to the cafeteria. As I rushed away from Ash, I sensed he felt confused. I had an unusually small appetite that day and I wondered why.

Before I could let that get to me 'Todd' appeared.

"I didn't get to show you around the place today, maybe tomorrow? When you're done eating, I'll show you to your room. Okay?" 'Todd' asked.
