"Okay, so you're telling me that we are going to be attacked in a weeks' time?!" Lissa shrieked. I knew I should have told Kestrel but no she was too busy helping Ash emotionally scar me. Jade was out with her new boyfriend. Matt and Jordan were training with Delos.

"Yep...oh yeah, I didn't tell mom about the visions." I said casually bracing myself.

"WHAT!?!?!?" She screamed before I teleported to one of the alternate dimensions I created to play in. As the say a bored mind is the devils playground. Alternate dimensions are created by filling up and empty part of our universe that literally goes on forever. So I went to my favourite...the one with Shayla my alien pet. She lived on this planet I never bothered to name full of herbivores and she is the only Carnivore(Don't want her to die or compete for food). because time passes by slower than on earth even though about two months has gone by, for her it's been about a week or two. She looks like a cross between a sabber tooth lion and a leopard. I gently stroked her. I loved her, I knew her attitude and occasionally I'd create some new herbivore as a challenge for her. Then she'd give me the cute adorable kitty look which told me time to go before I lose and create another.

So for a change today, I told her what happened today. I wished she could talk in her own way shayla was...innocent. Trusting. Loyal. And I wasn't going to be the one to shatter it. She knew me well enough to recognise my moods. Even when wearing my poker face...Animals make great lie detectors. Sensing my distress and depression she rubbed against me purring demanding my total attention. I began stroking her and felt myself start to calm down. Then she tensed up and pounced on me.

We started rolling around once I success fully pinned her down she wriggled out and trotted away. Her entire posture saying 'I meant to do that.' It was our way of playing. She gave me a look that was a mix between 'see yeah things are bad but you have me and I'm not going to leave you so it's not that bad' and 'now that you are in a good mood can I please have some new prey.'

I stroked her again and a wolf/bear thing appeared it was an herbivore. I never created carnivores because they might hurt my baby girl. Shayla was only 4 years old not old enough for stray dogs. (In my opinion). Before I let her chase it I kissed her on her forehead. "See you soon princess, I love you." She knew those words well, I said them every time I left and she gave me a look pleading me to stay. "Sorry sweetheart, but it's time to face the music." I said apologetically. Get nudged me to go then like she understood. "Thank you princess." I muttered kneeling down to hug her and then I left.

"Where were you?! We thought Ciaran got you early?!" Ash yelled. Mathew was supposed to be the one yelling. But instead he was trying not to laugh.

What? I asked

It's just funny to finally see you be yelled at and for you to actually look guilty like you mean it, not the fake guilt for your step-parents when they yell at you. This is hilarious! He replied

Liar. He said before coming over to kiss me in front of my brother.

We all stared shocked. We knew he was good but not that good. He won. I could not believe he won the fight. Lissa and Jade were needed for healing duty. Jordan and him waited impatiently outside the door.

Jade walked out. "He's gonna be alright." Jade said. He looked at her apologetically.

"I'm sorry. It was an accident." He apologised.

She looked at him one last time over my shoulder before walking into the room. "I know. I'm just a little worried about her." Jade said

"You aren't mad?"

"For what you did to her yes. But to him...He was begging for it." she said to him before going back in to attend to her patient.
