Raksha's P.O.V

After hiking for hours, Dimitri stopped at a clearing. It was similar to the one I had at home. Matt and I were hiking like a married couple for a while just to annoy everyone. It was funny and after about fifteen minutes everyone pooled their money and handed it to us to stop the married act. I gladly accepted, Matt looked kind of pained but that was not my problem.

"Alright, I suggest we go to set up a camp, have dinner and then go to sleep." I commanded. Heck who cares about food and camp! Just let me sleep!

As if guessing my thoughts Matt leaned over and whispered in my ear "If you're tired you can sleep with me." Yes. Oh my god! I did not just think that! Damn this boy, he's turning me into a pervert.

"No thanks. Now why don't you and your perverted mind get away from me and sleep as far away from me as possible." I suggested.

"I was just offering." He said shrugging. "If you need me you know where to find me. My offer would still stand." He added suggestively. I blushed shocked while he smirked walking away from me.

"So...Are you going to tell me if I want to know what he said to you? Cause I want an excuse to beat someone up right now."

I flinched. "Jesus Christ Ash! Don't sneak up on me like that!" Ash and Kestrel started laughing.

"Ohmigosh, Raksha are you blushing! What did Mathew say?" Kestrel said after laughing like a mad women.

"Well psychopath and his wife, you two don't want to know." I said without thinking.

"I'm going to-" Ash started but I cut him off.

"Jeez I'm joking." Matt you owe me big time. "Oh god! Is Lissa making out with Dimitri!" I exclaimed Ash and Kestrel turned to see if I was telling the truth. Taking advantage of the distraction, I rushed over to the trees and blended into the shadows right next to Jade who had fallen asleep. Lissa and Dimitri were blushing and looking guilty.

"Lissa I know we aren't that close but seriously I would have liked to know if you like Dimitri BEFORE hooking up with him!" Kestrel shrieked. I was RIGHT?! Lissa was dead.

"What NO! I was Dimitri set up camp. What did you think we were doing?! Making out?" Lissa responded immediately. Unfortunately for her that was exactly what we thought they were doing. She was smart but sometime I just want to knock some sense into her. Kestrel would be watching her like a hawk with her creepy hawk like eyes and analyse everything she does and find out a lot of things she'd rather people not know. At that moment Jordan decided to wake up. If you knew how much trouble it is to carry an unconscious almost full grown male up a hill everyone's-well almost everyone's- reaction would be understandable.

Kestrel, Ash and Dimitri lunged at him probably to yell at him. But as if he already had years and years of practise, he shielded himself and threw A LOT of power at them. They flew back into the trees. Then he looked right at me or Jade, his face was full of horror. I heard a sob and looked down. Oh crap, Jade was awake and had seen everything. Jordan put his two hands in front of him, palm up. I wrapped my arms around Jade.

"Will he be okay?" She asked timidly afraid of the answer.

"I don't know. I wish I knew." I answered truthfully. Usually I told her half-truths if I didn't know the answer. I held her gently stroking her hair while she cried until she fell asleep. Due to the day's events I wasn't paying attention until Lissa tapped me on the shoulder-obviously shaking- and handed me something to eat. I walked to camp and ate in silence. I closed my eyes to find were Jordan was and carried Jade over to him. I felt like the world had been ripped out from under my feet and I just couldn't cope. I had a brother, I was falling for my enemy, Jade cares about Jordan, My brother likes my best friend too much and my crush and his brother are now freaks like us.

"Here, take care of her or else." I said emotionlessly when I handed Jade over to him. He looked shocked I even trusted him. "Look I'm tired and she was worried about you in first place. You'll do a better job of comforting her than I will." I explained while walking off. I let my guard down a while ago so it was no surprise he was able to telepathically talk to me. The words shocked me. I'll protect her, I swear on my life I will. If I hadn't heard it I wouldn't have believed it. Feeling emotionally drained, I searched for Mathew and curled up next to him in the tent. Ironic.

Admit it you actually thought Lissa and Dimitri were making out.
