"Today's the day!" I run around yelling. Suddenly there's a soft knock at the door.
"EVERYONE TO YOUR ROOMS!" Ms. Peters yells at us. As we all trudge up to our rooms, we can hear Peters putting on her "nice act". "Hello ma'am, are you here to adopt?"
"No, no I am here to pick up a student that will be attending the school I work at. Her name is Megan. Surely, you knew I was coming!"
"Of course! One moment, I will retrieve Megan for you."
Uh oh.

I sneak downstairs with my steamer trunk with my spare socks and other things I need. It didn't have much in it because I am currently wearing my only outfit, ripped jeans, red t-shirt, and combat boots.
When Ms. Peters sees me, she hisses,"You didn't tell me about this, have fun at school, because when you get back, you won't be eating for a while."
Professer McGonnagal looks horrifyed at me when we walk out. "Is she always like that?" she stares at me.
"Terrible, over-bearing, vicious, fake, evil? Yes, everyday of my life, yes," I reply.
"You mean to tell me she has always been that way?"
"Yessum."
"She only gets us an new outfit once a year," I state.
The look on her face is priceless. She looks like Hermione Granger just slapped her, and walks away. "Follow me."So, I follow her, silently spaz, thinking 'Oh gosh, what is she going to do?' Suddenly, she stops in front of a store that had clothes in every window. What would she want here? Oh waait a second.

About 3 hours later, we walked out of that store with our arms full of bags. Most of them had sweaters and jeans in them. McGonnagal summoned my trunk and we dropped the 5-7 bags in it and vanishes it. Soon she says, "I have to go. We've spent too much time here and we have not even gotten to Diagon Ally. I know it's only 8am, but I have to get to Hogwarts so that I get things ready for classes and the sorting. I'll have to pass you off to Hagrid." Hagrid!
We go to the Leaky Couldron, and I see Hagrid with a small, blonde boy with a camera. COLIN CREEVY! "Hagrid! Please take Megan to get her supplies along with Mr. Creevy because I have to prepare for my classes."
"O' course Professer! Hello, you must be Megan!" I nod and I can feel eyes on me. So, I turned around and Colin shook my hand.
"Hi! I'm Colin Creevy!"
"I'm Megan, but you can call me Meg."
We smile at each other, and begin to walk off when, Professor McGonnagal rushed over and handed me a bag of coins to buy my supplies with. As we walk into Diagon Ally, I begin to see all of the stores I have been imagining for my whole life,until I realize something.
"Ummmmmmm, Hagrid, how are muggleborns supposed to get wizard money?" I ask.
"The goblin will exchange it for you." he says, as we walk into Gringotts.

We enter Olivanders Wand Shop to purchase our wands(duh). Mr. Olivander was talking to the girl with ginger girl sitting at the counter. She had bright red hair(not to be confused with my auburn hair), brown eyes, and freckles. When we got to the counter, she was paying for her wand and turned to us.
"Hi! I'm Ginny Weasley!"
"I'm Colin Creevy!"
"Meg. It's nice to meet you!"
"What year are you two?" Ginny asks.
"First," Colin and I chorus. "Cool so am I."

We sit on the train, talking and eating all sorts of sweets, when Ginny says something that blows my mind.
"I hate how I look," she complains.
"Gin, you're so pretty. What makes you think you're not?" I whisper to her.
"My hair is too bright, I wish I looked more like you," she whined.
Whaaaaaaat? She's so pretty. 'What's so pretty about me?' I think. I have auburn hair, grey eyes, and fair skin, no freckles,moles, or zits(I have no idea why), but I don't have the prettiest features.
Soon a girl with bushy brown hair and large teeth walks in and turns to Ginny,"Ginny, I can't find Harry or your brother." This must be Hermione. She looks around the compartment, and sees Colin and I.
"So, Hermione, this is Meg and Colin. Guys, this is Hermione Granger, Gyffindor second year."
