We shook hands for a brief moment, then pulled away. I can't believe this, I thought, this is a bad idea. I looked to Zim for guidance on what to do. He cleared his throat spoke, chin high in the air. "Now, we must make your disguise!"

I tilted my head, feeling my antennae tilt as well. "How?" I asked.

Zim smirked. That stupid smirk, I thought. "COMPUTER!" Zim yelled. Soon enough, there was a reply.

"Yes, Zim?" A misery-filled robotic male voice answered. It's voice made me jump.

"Bring me the disguise creator," Zim said, still using that stupid smirk on his face. A device floated down from the ceiling with what seemed to be some sort of open pod next to it.

"Any disguise requests, Master?" The computer said, still sounding displeased with life itself.

"Jamie-human, before she looked like that," Zim said, pointing at me. There was a loud beep, then Zim looked at me, wiping the smirk off his face. "Okay, now get in."

I opened my mouth to protest, scared of what was going to happen, but Zim had other plans. He shoved me in, then immediately, the pod closed in, and suddenly, I felt something grab my wrist. I yelped in pain as I felt something lock around it tightly. Then, I was shoved out of the now opened pod.

"Well, that was fast," Zim said to himself, glaring at me. He walked over to me and pressed a button that was on the metal bracelet, which was held over my wrist. Then, a virtual layer of, well, my old self appeared. "This was an idea that I took from Tak, though, I improved it. Its a digital disguise. All you have to do is press that button once to remove or apply it, and double press for it to disappear. To make it reappear, you just poke the bracelet itself."

I stood for a moment, taking in the information. Then, a question popped into my mind. "Who's Tak?"

"One of the many enemies that I successfully eliminated!" Zim exclaimed, smiling. I'm guessing he felt proud of himself for doing so.

I chuckled. But, that chuckle turned into a cough. It was sort of painful, like a regular cough. Maybe it's just my body getting used to being genetically altered?

I looked at Zim, who's eyes were wide, like he had just remembered something. Something important. He let out a small gasp, then took my hand and ran towards the trashcan, shoving me and himself inside. "W-What is it, Zim?" I asked nervously.

"Zim forgot your Pak! Irkens need it to survive!" He still held my hand, tightly, as he basically dragged me back into the room that I awoke in just moments earlier. He picks me up and placed me on the table. It made my face get hot.

"Z-Zim, calm down, I-I think it's j-just my body g-getting used to m-me being half I-Irken and stuff!" I yelled, trying to calm him down as he rushed into the other room. I heard him talking to his computer, and heard the familiar robotic voice from when he ordered my clothing. His worry made me worry. I felt my heartbeat increase, and I got fidgety. I coughed again, though it was still like a regular cough, though, it lasted awhile. Oh, god...

.•••.

"This is going to hurt a bit, but soon, it will go away," Zim said, checking to see if I was okay.

"A-Alright. I-I'm ready," I replied. A few moments after, I felt a sting in my back, along with a push. I felt Zim push something into my back, which felt hard, like metal. Just like Zim said, the pain soon faded.

"Is Jamie-Friend okay now?" Gir asked, innocently. He sat on the table in front of me, while Zim placed the Pak onto my back. He was eating a taco, and made a mess around him with the shredded meat and cheese.

"Yes, Gir, Jamie is fine, now go eat over there, you're making a mess!" Zim order. Gir just smiled and waved at me before running off into the next room. I turned to Zim. "Your Pak looks exactly like mine, but I ordered it in blue so it matched your outfit," Zim said, showing me his Pak.

"W-What's the point of a Pak?" I asked, curiously.

Zim helped me down from the cold, metal table that I had been on for about ten minutes now. "Well, it helps with health, it has these laser-guns, and those metallic blades that Zim made you witness earlier."

"Huh," I said, thinking about when Zim used that spider-like leg to throw off his wig. Speaking of which, his disguise is horrible.

I looked at Zim, who had an odd smirk on his face. That stupid smirk, I thought. "W-What?" I asked, confused.

Zim grabbed my hand and lead me to a wide and open area in the room. "Zim wants to help you practice with your legs!" He said, smiling. He seemed excited about this.

What does he mean? Soon enough, my question was answered. Zim's Pak sprouted multiple legs, allowing him to hover in the air. My mouth hung open in awe as I was observing the Pak legs. "Z-Zim, I don't think I can..." I said, doubting myself.

"Just focus, okay? Concentrate, and it'll happen." Zim's Irken eyes glowed in the light. He seemed...well, cute. I shook away my thoughts and closed my eyes. Come on, come on, you can do this...

"Zim, are you sure that--" I was cut off by a sudden jump, then I looked down to see I was hovering in the air, using my Pak legs. "--AH!"

I started to trip over;I couldn't keep still. I felt Zim's tight grip on my waist, helping me steady. "Keep calm, Jamie! You must remain calm to keep control." I nodded as Zim slowly let go of me. I laughed when I was able to stand up straight. Zim smiled widely at the sight.

I started to take slow baby steps, which lead to me running around the room. Then, I got a magnificent idea. "Zim! L-Let's play tag!"

Zim's head tilted as he hovered next to me. "What is this 'tag'?" After taking a few minutes to explain, Zim smirked viciously. He said in a low voice, "You'd better run, because I'm 'it', Jamie~"

I giggled, then spun around and used my Pak legs to run through the hallway, hanging upside down. I've never had this much fun, ever, I thought while laughing. I looked back to see Zim sprinting with his Pak legs down the hall behind me.

Soon enough, I was at a dead end. I turned to find another way out, but one flash of Zim was all I saw before hearing a loud crash!
