A she wolf from Alpha Gaft comes up to me as soon as I'm walking to the pack house. She gets touchy and I just smile her with a warning growl to lay her hands off from me. That should do the trick wavering my beta dominance without a single world. Women touching me not only makes me feel uncomfortable, but my lycan detests it. I had women basically pushing themselves on me in the pack house. Skoll is unhappy that females keep throwing themselves at us. But I was very blunt to any female that came near me. Skoll would immediately show his annoyance. One low growl sent them all off to scramble somewhere else in the pack house.

Walking to my room I just can't help but to notice how much her emotions change. One moment she's smiling and happy. A couple of minutes later it seems that she's on guard. Her demeanor is always changing and is sending me mixed signals. I'm trying everything possible to make her happy. Probably she has uneasiness, but I know that we will work through it. I will find out why she is always feeling indifferent. I couldn't help but sit on the bed and think all that has happened these last few days. I have found my mate and here I couldn't be more grateful blessed be the moon goddess.

I wanted to make this a special night. I want to take things slow for her. When in reality the one thing I want to do to her is mark her and complete the mate bond. All I can think is how lucky I am thus far. I can only imagine how soft she must feel and how sweet her voice is to my ears. I easily feel how fast my heart begins to beat. What was once was a steady heart is now like a beating drum. Boy am I in trouble. I couldn't help but notice how heavenly and welcoming her neck looked to me in the car. I had to have much self-control with Skoll. All he wants to do is claim her so others can know she's taken. It was a hard battle that I fought. But skin will always beat fur. I will always be the dominant one and he knows that.

Later on...

I get in my car to pick up my beautiful mate. I feel so nervous that I can feel sweat forming in my forehead. It caught me by surprise since it takes a lot for a Lycan to sweat.I don't want to screw anything up. I know she doesn't want me to touch her, but my body wants her so bad. It's not only the mate bond but me too. I genuinely love her, and I want to show her how much I love her. Skoll whines wanting to be with her. I can't help but feel the same way.

I feel a warmth on my face as it travels down to my cheeks, lips, nose, jaw, and finally eyes. I can't help but to shiver from the sensation. Skoll begins to howl happily saying that mate is near. I jump right out the car and look around. My eyes then land ahead to the most mesmerizing brown eyes I have ever laid eyes on. I'm confused as to why she's all the way here. I run up to her not wasting anytime time to be near her. Being so surprised that she ended up here I failed to see how she looked. The air was knocked out of lungs. Her face glowed as her lips shinned. I couldn't help but to stare. Her hair was curled, and I only wanted to brush my fingers through. I guess I was staring at my mate for so long that I didn't utter a word.

"Well we never exactly exchanged at what time we were going to meet. So, I decided to show up here." Salo

"Uh yeah, wow, ok, yo-uu look wow, you look beautiful". Xavier

Damn it I sound so dumb, but I can't think clear right now. I hope she didn't notice the incredible vocabulary I just threw at her. I go to greet her with a hug. I can't help but to hug her for a few more seconds. Her smell is so intoxicating I will never get over it.

" Thank you" she says as she giggles

"Please follow me let's go to my car so we can head along" Xavier

All she does is smile that beautiful smile of hers as a response back. I feel like a fish out of water right now. What I had planned was to pick her up and mentally prepare myself. But it seems that I forgot to exchange information with her. Which I clearly don't know how I let the most important information be forgotten. But, now sheesh I can't even fathom into thinking how dumb I must sound talking to her. With all the damn "uh, ok, yeah" I keep telling her.Skoll just growls in annoyance because of how im acting.

" Here you go my lady let me open that for you" Xavier

"Why thank you handsome" Salo

I just stay and look at her as she gets in the car. Did she just call me handsome ? My heart starts palpitating at an unsteady rhythm. I've been called handsome so many times but as soon as it leaves from her lips..... it felt different.

"Well are we going or not handsome ?" She says with a little smirk.

Oh kitten where did this profound confidence come from? I can't help but admire her and smirk. A twinkle just shines in her eyes. What I have in store for her if she only knew.

**It has been a rough couple of months for me to vision where I want this story to go. I keep getting writers block. This is mostly a filler chapter. I think of you guys a lot and thank you so much !
