Alex happened to be on my bus, and showed me where and where not to sit. The bus pulled up to Lincoln High, and a swarm of high school teens burst out of the bus.
"Um, Alex?" I looked next to me and in front, and Alex was nowhere to be seen.
"Great," I mumbled.
I walked over to a window and dropped my backpack to the ground. I kneeled down and slipped my iPhone 5s out of the front pocket. I went to the Social section of my phone and clicked 'Instagram'. I scrolled through my profile, no reason why.
"Selfies much?" a deep, husky voice asked. I jolted back to see a boy, my age, maybe older.
"And you are?" I feistly asked.
"Wow, a sassy one, are you?" the boy asked.
"I was going for feisty, but whatever." I said.
"I'm Kory. Kory Adams." He tugged on his gray-brown V-neck and pulled the waist of his dark blue jeans.
"Ok, I-I have to g-go." I stuttered and rushed past.
As I stepped through the doors, Alex jumped out at me.
"OMG! You were talking to Kory Adams!"
"Yeah," I said. "So what?"
Alex rolled his eyes. "Ok, I'll see ya girl! MWAH!" he said and skipped away.
I just laughed to myself and made my way to my locker.
