Sorry for not updating sooner. I plan to update every few days in the future! If you have an OC you want me to add, PLEASE let me know. I have a bad case of writers block, so this chapter may not be as good as the others. Read on my friends and enjoy!

Foxkit's stomach was growling, and she was debating on grabbing a piece of prey or staying there, when she heard a stick crack behind her. She whirled around, and jumped up, into a fighting position. She couldn't see the cat, but she could smell it. The scent of Caveclan.
Foxkit sprang onto her attacker, and sensed that her attacker was only a newly appointed apprentice, but even so, he was still 3 moons older than her. Foxkit remembered her fight with Thornstar, and remembered how she managed to overtake the much older cat. She decided to use the same move she used on Thornstar. When Foxkit feinted, the young tom fell for it, and rushed in to attack. When he was right above foxkit, she leapt up, into his stomach, flipped him over, and landed on top of the apprentice. "Who are you." She growled. "Woah woah woah." Muttered the intruder, gasping for breath. "Let me up and I'll explain everything." "If I let you up, will you runaway?" asked Foxkit. "No worries! I won't! You would probably rip my throat out if I even tried!" He said, his voice muffled by the moss Foxkit was pushing his face into. "Fine." said Foxkit, letting him up. "But don't think I'm letting you go." "Fine! Serious, aren't we? Jeez!" The apprentice said, getting up. "Wait a moment." The strange tom went on. "You're just a kit. H-how did you do that to me?" He asked, stunned. "Does that really matter?" Questioned Foxkit, getting nervous. "Foxkit!" She heard someone yowl, in the distance. "I-I've gotta go. If you don't tell anyone about what just happened, I will let you go without telling anyone about you. Deal?" "Deal." The stranger agreed. As Foxkit turned to go, she looked over her shoulder and said, "By the way! The names Foxkit." "Well Foxkit, my name's Flamepaw. And I'm sure your name will be Foxpaw before you know it, at the rate your fighting skills are growing!" "Thanks." Meowed Foxpaw. They both jumped when they heard a voice, "Foxkit! Foxkit? Where are you?" "Run Flamepaw!" Mewed Foxkit. "See ya Foxy whispered Flamepaw, as he ran back into the bushes. "Foooxkiiit!" she heard the yowl again. "Cooomiiiing!" she responded, running back into the clearing. Once she was within sight of the prey pile, she realized how hungry she was. She was about to go pick a piece of prey, when she was barreled over by another cat. This time, she quickly pulled her attacker over her by the tail, and leapt up to pin him down. Only when she caught her breath, did she realize that it was her brother, Hawkkit. "Woah! Foxkit! Easy there! You almost skinned me!" he said, gasping for breath. Foxkit immediately apologized for attacking him. "Oh! Hawkkit! I'm so sorry. I-I've been so nervous all day. I didn't mean to hurt y-" "Hey! Hey. It's alright. Calm down. It's my fault. I shouldn't have surprised you like that, knowing how tense you've been since this morning." "But I-" "Do. Not. Blame. Yourself."Hawkkit said. "If you say so..." Foxkit mewed nervously, her stomach rumbling. Hearing her stomach's cry of hunger, Hawkkit burst out, "Oh! Yeah I was looking for you because I haven't seen you all day, and I thought you were hungry, so I was going to bring you this rabbit. It was the biggest piece of prey on the pile." "You were right Hawkkit! I'm STARVING. Thanks for this rabbit." Foxkit said, through mouthfuls of rabbit." "No problem!" said Hawkkit, as he was padding towards his friends at the nursery. "Anything for my little sis! Oh! And you may want to get Dappledpelt to look at your shoulder. It doesn't look to good." Foxkit looked at her shoulder, and sure enough, there was a small gash, a few inches below the top of her shoulder. After she finished her rabbit, Foxkit padded over to a large, hollowed out rock with a crack down the middle, where Dappledpelt made her den. Dappledpelt came out and sat in the opening of her den, watching Foxkit walk up to her den. "Hello little kit. What brings you here?" "I need you to look at my shoulder. I cut it up pretty bad when I was...I was..." "Yes?" Pressed on Dappledpelt. "I was...training with Hawkkit." she burst out. "Really?" Dappledpelt asked, narrowing her eyes. "I don't really think that that was what happened. I think you found someone while you were hiding" "I-I don't know what you're talking about." Foxkit stammered. Dappledpelt go up and padded over to sit in front of Foxkit. "I think you do. And I know all about you and little Flamepaw." Foxkit turned to go back into the clearing. "Don't worry young one!" Dappledpelt said, chuckling. "I won't tell a soul." "H-how did you know about that?" Foxkit asked. "I'm a medicine cat.I know these things. Now, would you like me to look at your shoulder?" Mewed Dappledpelt. Foxkit nodded, so Dappledpelt gestured for her to come into her den. "Let's just put some aloe on there to clean it, and cover it up with cobwebs to help it heal, and you should be good as new!" "Thanks Dappledpelt!" said Foxkit, running back out to the nursery. "Your welcome!" Dappledpelt called after her.
About fifteen minutes after Foxkit got to the nursery, Thornstar leapt up, onto Highrock, and yowled to all the cats. "All cats who can catch their own prey, come to Highrock for a clan meeting! Jaystripe, please bring Foxkit." Once all the cats came into the clearing, Thornstar went on. "Cats of Forestclan. As you all know, young Foxkit was the first cat to defeat me in a fight since I became leader. Because of her strength and bravery, I have decided to make her an apprentice 3 moons early. Foxkit, please come up." Once Foxkit was up on Highrock, Thornstar went on. Foxkit, you have reached the age of three moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Foxpaw. I will take you on as my apprentice. I vow to pass down all my skills, and all I know, on to you. There will also be other apprentice ceremonies tonight. Mousekit, Dandelionkit, and Robinkit, please step forwards. Mousekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mousepaw. Your mentor will be Brightberry. I hope Brightberry will pass down all he knows, on to you." As Thornstar named each cat apprentice, they walked over to stand beside their mentor. "Dandelionkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dandelionpaw. Your mentor will be Bumblebee. I hope Bumblebee will pass down all she knows on to you. And finally, Robinkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your Medicine cat name, you will be known as Robinpaw. Your mentor will be Dappledpelt. I hope Dappledpelt will pass down all her knowledge of healing and herbs, onto you. All four of you will be starting your training tomorrow at sunhigh, and I hope Starclan bestows you with amazing skills, you will use to benefit your clan. Meeting dismissed." Once Thornstar was done talking, the apprentices touched noses with their mentors, and the clan chanted their new names: "Foxpaw! Mousepaw! Dandelionpaw! Robinpaw! Foxpaw! Mousepaw! Dandelionpaw! Robinpaw!" Thornstar jumped off of Highrock, and padded into her den. All the other cats went into their dens. Before Foxpaw went into her new den, she padded over to the nursery to say goodbye to her mother, brother, and friends. As soon as she walked through the entrance, she was greeted by an onrush of compliments. "Oh! My amazing little kit! I love you so much! You make me so proud!" Jaystripe crooned. "I am so proud of my little sis!" Hawkkit purred. "The youngest apprentice in the history of the forest, and I know you will be the greatest!" Foxpaw meowed her thanks, said goodbye, and went off to go sleep in her new den. On her way to the den, she heard something behind her. She whirled around, and scanned the area around her. She was the only cat still not asleep, and it was moonhigh. She looked into the bushes, and saw red, gleaming eyes, staring back out at her. Next thing she knew, she was pushed on to the ground by a huge mass, and her nose was filled with the rancid smell, of hot, rotting flesh. This huge animal, placed it's jaws around her neck. She kicked and clawed, and finally got it's grip off of her neck. Next thing she new, she heard the sound of a cat screeching, and everything went dark.
