Setting: Classroom

Time: 6:00 am

"Mark would you go on a date with me?" Yukhei asked. "Ha ha very funny." Mark sarcastically said, thinking someone as handsome as Yukhei wouldn't want to date him.

"I'm serious."

"Really?"

Yukhei nodded. "Dead serious,"

"Ok where do you want to go on a date?" Mark asked.

"There's this restaurant that I really like." Yukhei suggested. Mark nodded and smiled. "Sounds good," Yukhei's smile got bigger.

He walked out the classroom and began to fangirl. He was overjoyed that Mark agreed to go on a date with him.

"Why do you look so happy?" Taeyong asked. "Because I'm going out with the love of my life." Yukhei smiled and skipped down the hall.

"He just ditched his class." Taeyong said.

"I wonder who the lucky girl is?" Jaehyun asked.

"Yukhei is gay, Jaehyun." Taeyong sighed, walking into his class. Jaehyun stood in the hall for a minute. 'that actually makes a lot of sense.' He thought walking into the class.

Setting: Mark's house

Time: 7:20 pm

"I'm so happy you guys are going out!" Mrs. Lee squealed like a fangirl. Yukhei smiled. "I'm happy too. Your son is the most beautiful person I've met." Yukhei replied. Mark walked down the stairs. "You don't have to lie Yukhei." He mumbled.

Mrs. Lee and Yukhei frowned. "I'm not lying and I'll show you." Yukhei said, walking out the house with Mark. "Have fun, but not too much fun!" Mrs. Lee yelled before they walked out the house.

Mark and Yukhei got into the car. Yukhei's mom let him borrow her car for the date. She even gave him $100 for the date. Yukhei drove to the restaurant that his and Mark's date will be at.

They walked into the restaurant. "How may I help you?" A lady asked. "A table for two." Yukhei answered. "Follow me,"

Yukhei and Mark followed the woman to a table in the corner of the restaurant. "Hello I'm Mindy I'll be your waiter. Whould you like to start off with drinks?" The waiter asked with a smile.

"I'll have water. What about you Mark?" Yukhei asked. "I'll have a water also."

"I'll that'll be out shortly." Mindy walked away. Yukhei looked at his hands. He didn't know what people on dates do. Mark's phone began to ring. "Um I'll be right back my mom is calling me." He walked away.

Yukhei began to panic. 'What if he won't like me after this? I shouldn't have been so awkward.'

A few moments later Mark began back with a panicked expression. "M-my dad he got in a accident." (This is hella cliche)

Yukhei's eyes widened. "Do you want me to drive you?" Yukhei asked. Mark nodded. They quickly left the restaurant, and drove to the hospital Mark's father was at.

As soon as they arrived Mark immediately ran to the front desk. "Hello how may I help you?" The lady asked. "I'm Mark Lee and-" The lady cut him off

"Are you Chaewon Lee's son?" She asked. Mark nodded. "He's in room 127 on the fourth floor." Mark nodded. Yukhei followed Mark to the elevator. They went to the fourth floor. They walked down the long hallway. Outside of Chaewon's room was a nurse. "Oh you must be Mark." She said. Mark nodded. "You could enter." Yukhei was about to follow Mark, but the nurse stopped him. "Sorry sir Chaewon requested only his family could see him." Yukhei just nodded. Mark turned around.

"I'm sorry that our date was ruine-"

"Mark family is more important." Yukhei said. Mark nodded and went inside the room. Yukhei decided to pass time he would just roam the halls. Outside one of the rooms was a little boy crying.

"Why are you crying?" Yukhei asked. "My mommy got hurt." The boy answered.

"How?"

"Mommy and Daddy were play fighting and her head hit the table."

Yukhei frowned. "Did you tell the doctors what happened?" The boy shook his head.

"Daddy told me not to."

"What's your name?"

"Jisung Park." The boy answered.

"I'm Yukhei. Sometimes you have to tell a adult when your mommy and daddy are play fighting." Yukhei said. "Why?" Jisung asked. "Because your mommy got hurt. The doctors want to know why."

"I don't think I can do that. My daddy will get really mad." Jisung said. "I don't like when he gets mad. Sometimes he hurts me." Jisung added. Yukhei saw a vending machine on the other side of the hallway. He got up and paid for a bag of chips. He gave the chips to Jisung.

"If your mommy and daddy fight again you tell me." Yukhei said, passing Jisung his number. "Yukhei does your mommy and daddy fight too?"

Yukhei nodded. "All the time." Jisung smiled. "I'm glad I'm not the only one."
