Babies First Christmas

Cindy's pov

    I love having everyone home.

Mitchell and his little family are comming over so we can have Christmas as a family like always.

   I love seeing everyone together and happy.

I pulled my phone off the counter and decided to give Mitchell a little ring to make sure he's still comming.

  "Hello" he answered sounding a little aggregated.

  "Merry Christmas"  I said as cheerfully as I could

"What do you want mom" he said.

 

  "what's got your panties in a bunch" I asked. He seems on the edge today.

"Its 8 in the morning. I was in the middle of celebrating Christmas morning with Alexis." He said softly.

  Oh now I see why he was aggregated I know what he means by "celebrating."

   "Ok well I was just making sure y'all are still comming and that Alexis made the cookies."

    "Yes were comming, and yes she made the cookies" 

   "Alright well I guess I'll see you later"  I said not wanting to interrupt anymore

   

"Bye mom" he said anxiously

  I love that he has grown up and he lives alone with his wife and child. I just miss seeing him all the time. They come by once maybe twice a week now and it's sad.

   Now I hear that their wanting to move to Florida. I mean with in the last year he's moved out, had a baby, and gotten married.

  I walked out to the family room and sat myself down on the couch with my laptop.

"Mom...mom it's 10:30" I heard my son Brendan shouting in my ear wow I must of passed out. I quickly got up and checked on the ham I put in the oven. People will be here soon.

I did one last check to make sire I had everything ready before opening the front door. I looked out the glass of the screen door and smiled as I saw my son walking up the walkway.

"Hey mom" he said with a smile he had a few bags in his arms full of presents for the tree.

"Hey" Alexis said as she carried heaven into the house.

  I love seeing how well they work together. I love how they are both glowing. I love that their both finally happy.

I walked over to were Alexis sat with Heaven. I put my arms out to hold my grandbaby.

"Were are the kids" Mitchell said as he stood up.

  "I don't know, probably off in their rooms call for them." I have been so busy today I haven't paid much attention to them.

   "Brendan, Catrina, Tristan"  he called throughout the house.

I heard foot steps come down the stairs. Heaven began to struggle in my arms. Than in a split seconds I saw Alexis run into the bathroom She looked green as if whew was about to get sick.

  "She ok" I said looking at Mitchell.

  "She hasn't been feeling good the last few days." He replied as he went off to go check on her.

There was a knock on the glass than Tristan started jumping up and down yelling "grandma grandpa"

  As they came in I stood up with heaven still in my arms. I gave them each a hug. For Christmas this year all I wanted was a nice family day and it looks like I'm getting it.

  "Sorry about that" Alexis said as she walked back on the room. I handed her heaven and went to check on the ham, leaving the kids to talk to their grandparents.

When I walked back in the room the three kids were sitting around the tree waiting to open gifts. Alexis and Mitchell along with heaven were on the love seat. And my parents on the couch.

  "Yall ready to open gifts I take it" I said sitting next to my dad

"Yes" Tristan said as he started to give out gifts with the help of Catrina and Brendan.

  After everyone had opens their gifts and the room was covers in papper, Alexis stood up.

  " I have something important to say" she said looking sorta nervous. Mitchell looked as clueless as the rest of US.

"I'm.... pregnant"  she said with a soft sigh. As soon as she finished speaking Mitchell was quick to pull her into his lap.

  "Are we really having another baby" he said looking excited

   "Yeah 1 1/2 months along." Alexis said smiling. That explains why she was getting sick.

  "Why didn't you tell me"

"I wanted to do it on Christmas as a surp..." she was interrupted by his lips smashing to hers.

  Wow I'm already having my second grand child. I couldn't help but to laugh when their kiss was interrupted by heaven crawling onto their lap. She's gotta be the cutest baby ever.

After the shocking news had died down we all sat around the table and ate lunch/dinner than the rest the after noon we were sitting around talking as the kids played with their toys. Even Heaven played with here little bears she got.

  I love my beautiful family.

WELL ALEXIS IS HAVING ANOTHER BABY. LOL THAT WAS ACTUALLY A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINES IDEA. LOL
   I HAVE 90 READS ON THE BOOK WHICH HAS ME GLOWING WITH EXCITMENT.UGH I GO BACK TO SCHOOL MONDAY. BLECK
   LOL I SHOULD GET 1-2 MORE CHAPTERS OUT TODAY AT LEAST. IM SPENDING THE DAY SICK IN BED. AGAIN.

  I KNOM MOST MY CHAPTERS ARE SHORT BUT I ALSO TEND TO ADD MULTIPLE CHAPTERS AT A TIME.
