ALEXIS'S POING OF VIEW

I rolled over in my bed... it was cold...Mitchell wasn't there.I slowly sat up on the bed and looked around the room. He was no were to be found. The smell of baccon wafted up my nose.

I slowly crawled out of my bed and put on some pajamas and my robe. As I headed down the stairs.

When I got to the bottom of the stairs I wondered into the kitchen and saw my beautiful family. Brittany was sitting on the counter mixing something. Heaven was in her high chair eating what I presume to be banana. And my sexy husband was walking my way.

When he reached me he pulled me tight into his arms, and pressed his lips to mine.

"Happy birthday baby." Mitchell said as his lips parted from mine canoeing me to pout in objection.

"Thanks love" I said pressing my lips to his one last quick time.

I walked over and gave Brittany a hug. God how I love her hugs.

"Happy birthday mommy." She exclaimed as she squeezed me tightly.

"Thanks love" I said as I kissed her head.

I went over to pick up my heaven. She's gotten so big. I put her on my hip and walked back over to the stove where my husband was standing and frying baccon.

"Hi baby" he said as he kissed heaven's cheek.

"Say hi daddy" I said as I bounced her up and down. She started giggling and it was so cute.

"How you feeling baby" Mitchell asked as he placed the plate of baccon on the counter and began making some pancakes.

"Ok... just really sore and tired. Couldn't sleep worth a Damn last night." I said as I sat heaven back in her chair. I wish I could hold her all the time like I used to, but Mitchell has hit that overprotective stage again where I can't do anything.

"Sorry love" he said as he pulled me back in to his arms.

"Its your fault and you know it." I whispered into his ear so the girls wouldn't hear me.

"But you loved it." He said as he kissed my head and went back to the stove. He's right I did love it last night not really loving it this morning.

"Mommy I got you dis." Brittany  said as she handed me a little pink gift bag. The look on her face was priceless. I saw the look on Mitchell's face as he turned off the burner and leant up against the counter.

I moved over to a chair and sat down. As I opened the bag I saw Mitchell wrap his arms around Brittany. They both eagerly watched me. I pulled out the card first. It looked to be home made. It was adorable when I opened it it read.  "To my mommy,
Happy birthday mommy. I love you a lot I'm happy I'm your baby.
P.s daddy helped me make this. Love Brittany." as I read it I felt tears roll down my cheeks.

When I opened the bag the rest the way I saw a picture frame. It was beautiful. In the frame was the first picture the social worker took the day we got her. The frame read "Brittanys first day home." Its just like the one he got me for Christmas that said "Heavens first day home."

I felt the tears rolling down my cheeks faster. I placed the frame back in the bag and put my arms out for Brittany. She ran and jumped into my arms. I pulled her into my arms it hurt but I didn't care.
