ALEXIS'S POV

   I rolled over in my bed to feel an empty cold space. I sat up and glanced around the room searching for my husband who was no where to be found. I looked over at my clock which told me it was just after noon. I stumbled out of bed and threw a pair of sweats on and a tee shirt and grabbed my cell phone, before heading down stairs to find my sexy husband and beautiful children.  When I had reached the bottom of the stairs I found the three people I was looking for sitting on the couch watching what looked to be sponge Bob.

"MOMMY!!"Brittany exclaimed as she came crashing into me, and smothered me with a tight hug. After I regained my balance I walked over to my husband who was still sitting on the couch with our precious heaven in his hands. I bent over a d pressed my lips to his. the taste of his lips instantly causing my blood to boil. These pregnancy hormones have basically made it to where every free moment we get is spent in the bed room.

"Good morning beautiful!" Mitchell said with a cheeky grin.

"Good morning." I said as I sat down next to him and layed my head on his shoulder.

"You need to call Kayla when you get a chance" he said with a roll of the eyes. I know he doesn't particularly like Kayla but he has to get over that she's my god cousin. It's not her fault he cheated on me with her back in high school.

"I will in a little bit when I'm actually awake." as I spoke know proceeded to try to come up with a reason that she would call.

"And mom will be here around 2:30 to get the girls for the night cause I have some plans." he smiled as he spoke the last few words soft and deep.

"Okay I guess I better call Kayla now than." I pulled out my phone and dialed her number.

"Hello!" she answered happily almost in a shriek.

''Hey cuz you called?"

"yeah... I just wanted to see how you've been."

"Oh well. I've been doing well being I'm about 7 1/2 months pregnant."

"That's good... I've seen the pictures of the girls all over Facebook they are so beautiful just like there mother." she's always been really good about talking people up.

"so how have you been?"

"I've been good,as you probably already know because of Facebook I'm engaged. and that's actually what I was calling about."

"How can I help you?"

"um... I was wondering if by any chance you would be willing to help me plan my wedding, being your going to school for it and I know ... well... nothing about it."

"Kayla I would be more than happy to help maybe we should get together sometime soon and work out all the basic details. " as I spoke I managed to catch a glimpse of Mitchell's face and by that look I could tell that he knew exactly what we had Ben talking about.

part of me wasn't comfortable planning this wedding because she is after all my husbands ex but at the same time I'd love to help my cousin and get a feel for what I'm gonna spend the rest my life doing.

"So are you good for Saturday around noon, maybe meet for lunch?" she asked  which was a snap back to reality.

"yeah that works for me!" I replied

"Ight I love you cuz talk to you later."

"Ight love you too bye-bye."

As I placed my phone on the arm of the couch I caught a glimpse of Mitchell's face.

"what?" I said as I reached for Brittany and pulled her into my arms.

"nothing" he said with a smirk before heading into the kitchen and calling, "you want some coffee this morning?"

"I can get it" I said as I stood up and readjusted Brittany onto my him before heading into the kitchen.

I placed Brittany back onto the ground and proceeded to make my coffee.

"I have a lunch date with Kayla, were gonna go over the basics of her wedding and what she wants." I said even though I'm pretty sure he heard the whole conversation.

"That's good love, I'm happy for you. This is a big deal." he said as he leant up against the counter. His eyes were fixed on Brittany who was playing with heavens feet as they stuck out the bottom of her high chair.

"I'm excited it's the first wedding I get to plan. This is a big deal."

"I'm very proud of you."

He pressed his lips softly to mine revealing a first kiss. My body craved his attention.

"Ewwww" Brittany yelled causing us both to jump back. she has never done that before.

"what's ewww?" mitchell asked as he leant down and kissed her for head.

"I've been infected with cooties mommy call a doctor." as she spoke she took of running around the kitchen with Mitchell chasing her. I started laughing as heaven started joining in to the chaos squealing and carrying on.

"I'm ganna go get Heaven dressed and repack her diaper bag." I picked up Heaven and we headed up the stairs.

Soon Brittany was up the stairs trying to find her clothes and pack her bag.

"hey mom!" Mitchell said as he answered the door.

"hey mom!" I called from the couch.

"GRANDMA!!!" Brittany shouted as she came running down the stairs and slamming into cindy.

"ow" she said as she picked Brittany up.

"Sorry mom she's been doing that a lot lately." Mitchell said as cindy placed Brittany back on the ground.

"No big deal she said as she came over to the couch and sat next to me. " I handed her Heaven who was starting to fall asleep.

"How have you been Mom?" I asked being we haven't seen her in about a week.

"I've been alright the kids have been doing a great job stressing me out. I can't believe Brendan is about to graduate." she said as a tear left her eye.

"Ugh I don't know what ill do when the girls graduate, thank god I still have years and years and years to prepaid for that." Mitchell said.

After spending a bit more time visiting with his mom talking about the random things, her and the girls took off. Mitchell and I got dressed to leave. We ended up having a lovely dinner and than going to watch a movie before coming home and going to bed. It's nice being able to go to bed and not have to worried about putting the girls to bed but at the same time it feels a lot different.
