Well, after the way CharaDemonChild ended Shadowing Times, I knew I had to get to work on this sequel. I hope I didn't keep everyone waiting. Originally, when I finished writing Sunset Redemption, I had the idea for this story in mind. Claire liked it, and she figured I could write it better than she could. And she wanted to do a story she thought up, and I was like okay, sounds good. I liked contributing to the story. I really ought to thank Claire for approving/encouraging some of my ideas. She even made some good suggestions. She even liked the idea of Venom being in the novel. Yes, Marvel's Venom. I had trouble trying to find a major villain for Raph to fight that's after Garrett, and I decided to include a popular Marvel villain. Venom...

Except this Venom will not be an antihero like in the comics or the 2018 movie with Tom Hardy. No, he's a villainous underling for the main antagonist, The Storm King. And by the mere mention of him, this story involves events from My Little Pony The Movie. Tempest and Capper will also appear, including Billy and Red, (who I renamed Mero) and thus this pentalogy will have come full circle. What is a pentalogy, you may ask? A pentalogy is like a trilogy, except it's a series of five stories. I know what you're thinking, how did Venom end up in the clutches of Storm King? Maybe there was a breach in the Multiverse that dragged Venom into the MLP Universe. But I will say that this version of Venom is the same Venom Symbiote who infected Barbara Gordon in Spider-Man Vs. Darkwing. Quite the Easter Egg, eh? It's funny how Storm King and Venom are the two main villains in this story. Especially since the voice of The Storm King, Liev Schreiber, has played two Marvel villains. He played Sabretooth in X-Men Origins Wolverine (one of the few good things about the film) and voiced Kingpin in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. What a co-inky-dink! Also, this may be one of the few times I've ever done any retconning to my stories. But it's as James A. Janisse once said on Dead Meat, "if you gotta retcon, you gotta retcon." Anyway, hope everyone likes this fifth story. Also, special thanks to camilalia9898 for suggesting a surname for a certain character. You'll find out soon enough. And like Shadowing Times, this will be narrated through multiple points of view. Booyakasha!
