Donnie's P.OV.

Man, things are really looking up for us. First I find out that Mikey and I are reincarnated and alive, and Raphael survived and he's married and expecting a kid, and Leo is now alive! How awesome is that? Anyway, I just finished one of my shifts, and I'm ready to go home. As I head outside to get to my car, I hear a cry for help. Wait that voice sounds familiar... It's Rarity! I run to my car to get my bo staff. I then run to where I can hear Rarity cry for help. She's being cornered by a mugger at knifepoint. "Give me the money and your jewels!" The mugger threatened. I glared and said, "Hey! Leave her alone!" The mugger looked at me and asked, "you talkin to me nerd?"

"I am indedd," I said, my staff in hand. "Donnie, what are you doing?" Rarity asked. "Shut it bitch! And mind your own damn business, you wimp!" The mugger threatened. I scowled and asked, "do you kiss your mother with that mouth? If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're trying to compensate for something. Harassing women and threatening them." The mugger glared at me and said "big mistake bringing a stupid stick to a knife fight." I smirked and said, "stupid is as stupid does. And this is a bo staff."

"You're dead meat!" The mugger yelled as he lunged at me. He thrashed around at me with his knife. But I spun my staff, making his hand drop the knife. The mugger then tried punching me, but I dodged his attacks, hitting him with my staff every time he missed. He thought he cornered me to a concrete wall, but right when he was about to punch me with his right hand, I ducked and he punched the concrete wall. He yelled in pain. He tried to punch me again, but this time with his left hand, but I dodged again, causing him to punch the wall with his left hand. "You broke my hands!" He accused. "I'm not the one who tried to mug a woman, now am I?" I retorted, "besides, you'll live." He tried to attack me again, but this time, I used my staff to hit him where the sun don't shine. "Had enough?" I asked. That's when the jerk left. I turned around to see Rarity and asked, "are you okay?"

"Now I am," sighed a relieved Rarity, "that was marvelous, darling!" I smiled and said, "what can I say? I was trained by the best." Rarity hugged me tightly and said, "Thank you so much Donnie. You're my hero." I welcomed the hug and said, "ah shucks, I'm flattered Rarity. You mind if I take you home?" She said I was her hero... Really trying not to blush. Rarity looked at me, smiled and said, "I wouldn't mind that at all. On the condition that you have hot chocolate with me." I texted Mikey, letting him know I was at Rarity's house, and I drove there, with Rarity in the passenger's seat. The drive didn't take too long, and we made it to her house. Once we got inside, we made ourselves at home. Rarity prepared the hot chocolate and I looked around the house. I decided to take a seat on her couch which was nice and comfy. A few minutes later, Rarity came back with two cups of hot chocolate. I took my cup and said, "Thanks Rarity."

"No, thank you darling, for saving my life." Rarity said as she sat down. We then drank our hot chocolate. "How are you holding up?" I asked. "A lot better actually," said Rarity. "Well that's good," I said, "I wouldn't want you to get hurt." Rarity beamed and said, "That's so sweet of you, Donnie." We looked at each other's eyes. I can feel my heart racing. I haven't felt something like this since April... "Donatello," said Rarity. "Yeah?" I replied. "There's something I have to know," persisted Rarity. "What is it?" I asked. She stroked my cheek and asked, "do you like me? As more than a friend?" I hesitate a little as I confess, "ever since we met at the mall, I've always had a crush on you. So to answer your question Rarity... Yes, I do." Rarity smiled and said, "that's so sweet of you Donnie. But I have to wonder... Is there any particular reason why?"

"Well, I've always felt different," I admitted, "and now that I know I've been reincarnated, I guess I feel more different. But when I'm with you, I feel normal." Rarity held my hand and asked, "so the particular reason you love me is that I make you feel normal?" I stroked her palm and said, "Yeah. I feel a lot happier with you." Rarity smiled and said, "I'm glad you feel that way. I think you're kind, gentle, and brave. You're always willing to defend me, and that's why I love you." We looked at each other, blushing. "Do you want to be together?" I asked. Rarity smiled and said, "I would be more than happy to." We then moved closer, I could hear her breathing. We slowly closed our eyes, and then kissed each other on the lips. We held each other while kissing. This sensation felt great. Once we took a break to breathe, I said, "I love you Rarity." She replied, "and I love you, Donatello."
