Sunset's P.O.V.

It's been a few months since we found out I was pregnant with twins. Raphael and I are so excited. Of course I told Princess Twilight and Garrett. They're overjoyed as well. When the baby shower happened, Pinkie made blue frosted cupcakes with Raph's favorite flavor for Nova, and pink frosted cupcakes with my favorite flavor for Summer. Everyone gave us great gifts for the twins. We've been preparing for the baby's room. Dusk even helped paint their room. There are separate cribs for them, so that should help. During the shower, Leo admitted to Twilight he was in love with her, and now they're dating. They're so cute together.

Anyway, I have a few weeks left until my due date. My belly's the size of a large basketball. We're at home, seeing what's on TV. "Want to watch Shape of Water?" Raph asked as he saw what channel it was on. "Sure, I love that movie," I said, "can I have some popcorn with that?" Raphael kissed me and said, "anything for you, Sunny." He then left the living room to make some popcorn. Right when the popcorn was ready, the door opened, and my brother Garrett, in his human form, and Billy rushed in. Billy, weirdly enough, still looked like a blue beaver. Garrett then shut the door, locked it, and use his entire body to block the door as he and Billy breathed intensely, nearly on the verge of hyperventilation. "Garrett? Billy? What are you two doing here?" I asked, thrown off guard, "and how come your appearance hasn't changed Billy?" Garrett and Billy looked at each other, and the blue beaver said, "I have no freaking idea... Sunset, is that you?" Raph walked out of the kitchen, eyed my brother and his friend and asked, "Garrett? Billy? What the shell is going on?"

"He's here..." Garrett said, regaining his breath, "The Storm King is here!" I gave a look of dread. This was bad. Raphael and I managed to calm down Garrett and Billy, and we explained to Billy what this dimension was like.  "Okay, I guess it makes sense," said Billy. "Glad you understand Bill. Now that that's out of the way, spill the beans," said Raph, "tell us everything you remember as best you can." Garrett sighed and said, "Well, Princess Twilight was doing a Friendship Festival in Canterlot. Mom and Pop couldn't make it, so Billy and Mero decided to accompany me instead. I was planning on proposing to Twilight." Billy nodded and said, "he had the ring for her and he was going to surprise her when Songbird Serenade would start singing."

"That's so sweet," I said, smiling. Raph cleared his throat, indicating that Garrett should continue the story. "Anyway, right when Serenade showed up, we saw this large flying ship," continued Garrett, "but I recognized the symbol. It was The Storm King! Since technically Billy, Mero, and I are technically fugitives of the law, we assumed that The Storm King was coming after us. I was sort of wrong when Tempest Shadow came in and started addressing Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight. The Storm King wanted their magic. When Luna said no, that's when everything went from bad to worse. First Tempest threw these orbs that turned Cadence, Celestia, and Luna to stone. Mero managed to get Princess Twilight, Spike, and the rest of her friends out of Canterlot. Before Princess Celestia turned to stone, she told Luna to find the Queen of the Hippogriffs; at least that's what Billy and I assume. She got petrified before she could finish her sentence. After that..."

Flashback, Third Person View

Garrett looked on sadly. His marefriend was in danger. "What are you fools standing around for?" Tempest demanded, "find the fugitive, the princess, and her accomplices!" She glared. Garrett breathed in and shouted, "Leave my marefriend alone!" Tempest turned around and asked, "did you just talk back to me, Colt?" She glared at Garrett. "Hey, he's not a colt! He's a stallion, Tempest!" Billy defended. "And my name is Garrett Shimmer!" Garrett replied. "Why 92496 and 20675, what a pleasant surprise..." Tempest said with sadistic glee, "my, you've grown into a large stallion. We were rather outraged when you and 24601 escaped, and 82676 destroyed my Master's prison. I may not have originally intended to come after you fugitives, but this does make my day." Garrett looked at Tempest and said, "don't take your anger out on these ponies. It's Billy and I you want. Just please don't take us to Celestia's throne room with the mirror." Tempest laughed incredulously, "you beg? Well then, I shall do the opposite. I was planning on informing my master. He would be very pleased to know I've found you convicts." The guards grabbed Billy and Garrett, and Billy whispered, "I can't believe she bought that." As soon as they were near the magical mirror, Garrett punched Tempest in the eye and he and Billy ran for it, headed to the magic portal.

Present, Sunset's P.O.V.

"And then Billy and I came to this dimension, and here we are," concluded Garrett. "Were the both of you followed by anyone?" I asked. "No, I don't think so," said Billy. "Do you think that Storm King asshole is coming here?" Raphael asked. "Probably not," said Garrett, "I don't know how long it will be, but that bastard's probably either gonna come for me or send some flunky to come after me and Billy. Either way, I'm screwed. I'm sorry to bring this back into your life, sis." I looked at Garrett and said, "it's okay Garrett. While Raph and I usually say my past is not today, everyone's dark past sometimes comes back to bite them in the ass. I'm a prime example. How you choose to face it is up to you." Billy nodded and said, "Yeah, and I know Mero's gonna protect Twilight and the girls." Raphael got out his sais and said, "I promise you this much Garrett, I'm gonna call my brothers and we're gonna protect you and Billy. If that Storm King bastard and that Tempest Shadow bitch want you, they're gonna have to go through me! Nobody messes with my family!"
