After Twilight was captured, Spike managed to get the rest of her friends together. They knew they had to rescue Twilight. Along with them for the ride thankfully, were Capper and Mero, who managed to survive Tempest's wrath. Also with them were the swashbuckling pirates that the girls befriended, and Princess Skystar, daughter of the Queen of the Hippogriffs. Capper and Mero wanted to help the girls for more than just Twilight, they wanted to help for Billy and Garrett. And so they stormed into Canterlot, ready to stop The Storm King.

Meanwhile, Garrett could only watch in horror, mostly because Venom was forcing his eyes open, as The Storm King stole the magic of Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence! Now he was powerful. Suddenly, Dusk, Raph, Leo, Donnie, and Mikey came out of the portal. Dusk was back as a unicorn. But surprisingly, Leo, Donnie, and Mikey were back in their Turtle forms. Raphael looked at them and said, "you guys should check yourselves out." The three of them looked at themselves in surprise. "This feels familiar," said Donnie. "Side effect from the portal and the reincarnation?" Dusk asked. "Probably," replied Raphael. Venom growled, "well, if it isn't the Turtle freaks, come to die. When I'm done with you, you're all going to be appetizers. Any last words?"

"Yeah, I got one," replied Mikey, "COWABUNGA!!!" That's when Raphael, Leonardo, and Michelangelo charged at Venom. The Symbiote roared at them as Leo slashed with his swords, and Mikey whacked with his nunchucks. The Nightwatcher armor tripled Raphael's strength, and he punched Venom constantly, and the villain felt every punch. But that didn't mean he didn't fight back. Meanwhile, Donnie was working on the sound vibrating machine. Once he got it working, Dusk shouted, "alright boys! Cover your ears!" Donnie then worked the machine, releasing loud sound vibrations. It weakened Venom, causing it to screech in pain. Billy struggled to get out of the bondage. "Guys! I can see Billy!" Garrett said as he ran to his friends, "come on Billy, you gotta fight it!" Garrett and Dusk then used the magic from their horns to grab Billy. They tugged with all their strength until after much struggling from the Venom symbiote, they managed to get Billy out of there. Which left the Venom Symbiote pissed off. It roared at them. "Now's your cue Dusk!" Raph shouted. Dusk then cast a spell that put a massive force field around Venom. The Symbiote tried to break out of the force field, but every time it did, fire came out, burning it. "IT BURNS!!!" Venom screeched. The force field kept getting smaller and smaller, burning and suffocating The Symbiote until it was burnt to nothing more than lifeless ashes. Dusk then let the force field go, the ashes blowing away. "You're one cool dude Dusk Shard," complimented Leo. "Thanks," said Dusk as he smiled a little. "Billy, are you okay?" Garrett asked as he looked at his exhausted friend. "I am now," said Billy, "what's going on? Wait, look over there!"

Meanwhile, The Storm King was revelling in his newfound powers as he caused massive storms and tornadoes with his staff. "NOW I TRULY AM THE STORM KING!" He laughed maniacally, "AND NOW THE WORLD WILL BOW BEFORE MY BA-BA-BOOM, BABY!" Tempest walked over to her master and said, "yes, you are as every bit as powerful as I promised you, sire. I've been loyal to you for over a decade. And I wish for you to restore my horn as you promised. Do so, and I swear to use my magic to serve only you." She bowed before him humbly. Storm King laughed and asked, "who cares about your dinky little unicorn horn?" He then turned his back on her. Garrett, Billy, and Dusk were in disbelief that The Storm King was double-crossing Tempest Shadow! "Ouch, that's harsh. I can relate," thought Dusk. "But..." Tempest protested, "we had an agreement! I've been loyal to you for over a decade! You promised!" Storm King smirked and said, "yeah, about that? I lied. I kind of do that. You should have known that from the very beginning." He then blasted at her several times, but Tempest defended herself, blasting back at him, until the both of them were blasted back by their own magic, but Tempest was about to be sucked into the tornado that The Storm King had caused! Twilight looked on. So did Garrett, Dusk, Billy, and The Turtles. "We gotta do something!" Garrett said as he and Dusk went to Twilight to save Tempest. She lost her grip, but Twilight managed to grab her in time. Garrett and Dusk also helped Twilight. "Hold on!" Twilight said as she and the two stallions held on with all their might. "Why are you saving me? Especially you, Garrett? The Storm King and I ruined your childhood..." Tempest asked. "Because this is what friends do," said Twilight. "And the first step to friendship and redemption," said Garrett. Dusk smiled and finished, "is forgiveness." They then saved Tempest from what could have been her demise, getting her out of the tornado. Tempest smiled at them. "Aww... Isn't that just sweet?" Storm King sarcastically asked, "yeah... See ya." He then aimed his staff at the three of them. But before he could kill them, something hit him, making The Storm King lose his staff. Who was it? Why it was Spike, Pinkie, Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity! "Pinkie! You all came back!" Twilight said excitedly, "I'm so sorry! I was wrong to-" Before Twilight could finish, Pinkie then hugged her and said, "I'm sorry too... Friends mess up, and we never should have..."

"Uh, make up later!" Dash interrupted, pointing to the staff. It was causing disaster everywhere in the castle! "Looks like that staff's got to be controlled," said Donnie, "you girls need a hand?" Twilight smiled and said, "no, we got this together." Spike and The Mane 6 then worked together to get the staff. But Storm King crawled out of the debris and growled, "the staff! It belongs to me!" It was a race against time as Twilight and The Storm King struggled to get the staff. But soon Twilight grabbed the staff, but the tornado sucked both her and The Storm King in. "TWILIGHT!!! NO!!!" Garrett and Pinkie cried as the storms ceased, letting Spike and the girls down. "Is she...?" Garrett struggled to ask, scared to think the mare he loved was dead... Garrett and Pinkie looked down and tearfully hugged each other. Raphael took off his helmet, and knelt down on one knee out of respect for Twilight. He then put his arm around the tearful Garrett to comfort him, with sympathy in his eyes. His brothers knelt down in respect also. Dusk then said, "Look! Over there!" Everyone looked up, and saw Twilight flying in the air with the staff. Garrett brightened up. She landed on the ground, and that's when Garrett, Spike, and the girls hugged Twilight. Tempest looked on with a contempt smile. But from behind, The Storm King was ready to throw an Obsidian Orb. But Tempest ran forward to stop him from killing Twilight and her friends, blasting at the orb. Both she and The Storm King turned to stone. Twilight, Garrett, and Dusk saved Tempest in time. But as for The Storm King, he fell down, and as he landed smack on the ground, he smashed to pieces, dead. Garrett glared down at his dead tormentor and said, "good riddance." Everyone looked at the stone statue that was Tempest Shadow, and Billy said in surprise, "she sacrificed herself to save you all."

"I knew there was good in her," said Twilight as she revived Tempest. The reformed villain smiled at her friends. "Now what?" Raph asked. "Now we fix everything," said Twilight. She then used the magic of the staff to revive Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadence, she used the magic to fix all the damage that the castle had suffered, and she used the magic to fix all of Canterlot, and revived Derpy too! Princess Celestia smiled and said, "Well done, Princess Twilight. And it is wonderful to see you as well, Raphael." The Ninja Turtle kneeled before Celestia and said, "good to see you too, your highness. We got a lot to talk about."
