A/N: So I got a request for unaccepting Tony or the rogues protecting Peter, so I shoved them together. Also, I want to turn this into its own book at some point so let me know if you would like to see that.

To say Peter was nervous would be an understatement. He planned on coming out to both May and Tony today and was so nervous. He hadn't really gotten the chance to really feel out how the felt about the LGBTQ+ community which was only making him feel worse. He paced outside the door of the living room, trying to calm his breathing. When he felt slightly better he went in and stood in front of May and Tony. Immediately his nerves returned and he fidgeted with the strings of his hoodie has he talked.
"So, I called you here today because I wanted to talk to guys about something important. I want you to know this wasn't a choice and I'm only telling you this because I'm proud of who I am. I am pansexual. I like all people, no matter what gender or sexuality they identify with." (Thanks for helping me with this explanation)
Peter looked up from where he had been staring at his shoes, too nervous to look at them when he told them. They stared back at him for a moment, then a whisper came from May.
"Get out."
"What?"
Peter's voice was soft and shaky, and he was trying not to burst into tears. Tony's voice came next, much louder then May's.
"You disgust me. Get out of the tower now."
Peter ran out, tears streaming down his face. He ran out of the tower and kept running until he collapsed in an alleyway sobbing. He crumpled to the ground and pulled his knees to his chest and rocked back and forth, struggling to get in a breath. Everyone felt too loud, and he could smell every bit of food within a one-mile radius. He could hear loud footsteps coming, nearer and nearer. He was shaking like a leaf and trying to pull his knees closer to his chest, hoping the footsteps with go away. His eyes stayed squeezed shut when he heard the footsteps stop right in front of him. The voice that spoke was calm and quiet and helped ground him a bit.
"Hey son, are you alright?"
Peter carefully pried his eyes open, surprised to see the face of Steve Rogers staring back at him. He shrunk back a bit, half expecting a shield to the face. When one didn't come, he whispered to the man.
"I-I-I was kicked out...aren't you Captain America?"
"Yes, I am son. How would you like to come stay with me for the night? It's not safe on the streets."
Peter nodded. He knew he could trust Steve, he wasn't a fugitive any more and Mr. Stark had trusted him. He stood up, his legs shakily. He used to the wall to support himself and walked with Steve to an apartment building. He rode to the top and the elevator opened up on a giant penthouse. Inside were all the rogue Avengers, minus Bucky who was still in cryo. Everyone started to stare at Peter, and all he wanted was to be at home with his warm bed and loving Aunt. Or not so loving.
"Steve, why is there a kid here?"
"I found him in an alleyway having a panic attack. Said he was kicked out."
Peter kept his eyes glued to the floor as he mumbled.
"My names P-Peter.."
Everyone got off the couch and walked over to Peter. He slowly drew his eyes up to see the Black Widow, the Scarlet Witch, the Falcon, Hawkeye, and Captain American looking at him. Natasha spoke, not seeming to believe him.
"Why did you get kicked out Peter?"
"I tried to come out as pansexual, but they kicked me out..."
He said, his voice getting quieter. What if these heroes kicked him out too? Suddenly he felt arms wrap around him, and he realized all of the heroes were hugging him.
"How about we set you up in the guest bedroom? The place is plenty big."
Peter nodded and thanked everyone, trying not to start crying again. His hero may not have accepted him, but these heroes did.

Peter had been staying with the rogues for a week, and he was enjoying it. He had people who accepted him, cared for him. He had a family. He had taken to calling everyone aunt or uncle, not including Wanda who he called his sister. He sat in the living room watching a movie with his family when he heard a loud knock on the door. Steve got up to answer, Peter trailing behind because he was curious. He quickly hid behind Steve when he saw who it was. It was Tony and May, here to take him. Steve let them inside, and by now all the rogue Avengers had come in to see what was going on. Peter tried to hide, but Tony could see him.
"Peter. You need to come here right now. We have a place for you to go where they can fix you. Heal you."
Peter tried to step forward, but Wanda grabbed his arm and held him back.
"No Peter. You are not going anywhere with him. Esicapally not to one of those places. We are your family."
Peter smiled, happy that Wanda called him family. He stepped back and went over to Natasha, asking her what they were going to do.
"We are going to make sure you are safe Peter."
Peter smiled, knowing Tony didn't stand a chance. May had already left, giving up hope when she realized this was the Avengers and she had no powers. Tony and Steve fought for a while, but with the help of the rest of his family Tony left, and Peter was left to finish the movie with his favorite family.
