It had been months since Peter had come to live with the Bartons and Natasha. He had never been happier really, he was good friends with Clint's daughters, who was only a couple years younger than him. He enjoyed playing games with the boys and had begun to finish school online. He tried to push all memories of Mr. Stark out of his mind, as the man's words still stung. So that was why when Natasha told him Tony was coming to visit, his world felt like it was falling apart.

Even though it had been determined that Bryan had actually brainwashed Stark, and he had no clue what happened, he was worried it had been true. He sat crying in his room, while Natasha held him and whispered to him in Russian. It took him a while to stop crying and by the time he had stopped Tony would be there in an hour. He took a shower and put on some decent clothes. Clint reassured him that Tony would only be there for an hour and he was welcome to go back to his room as soon as he said hello and gave Tony a chance to say sorry.

He sat in the living room, Natasha and Clint on either side of him. He heard a knock on the door and flinched. Laura opened it and let the anxious Tony Stark to the others. Tony sat down opposite to Peter.

"Hey Peter!"

"Hey Mr. Stark."

Peter partially hid his face in Natasha's arm, feeling like bursting into tears.

"I'm so sorry for what I did Pete. You know I didn't mean any of it. I love you, Peter."

Peter started sobbing and hid fully behind Natasha, who turned around to comfort him. Peter snuck a glance at Tony and mumbled,

"I'm sorry Mr. Stark, but I don't think I can forgive you."

He started crying harder and Clint picked the small boy up, carrying him to his room. Natasha sat in silence, glaring at Tony.

"I don't think I can forgive you either Stark."

She and Peter had bonded, and Peter had told her all about what happened when he was living in that alleyway. Knowing that she couldn't forgive Stark. He had caused Peter too much pain, mind-controlled or not. Tony left, and Peter lived with the Barton's until he left for college. Tony got over Peter when he realized he had partially meant what he said, the kid's problems were too much for him. He still loved him, but it was better this way.

A/N: Sorry this is pretty anti-Tony, I just like writing dark Tony and anti-Tony stuff.
