I shoot up from my sleep covered in a thin layer of cold sweat panting and shaking, I turn to my side and see toni sleeping so I gently shake her awake "t-t-toni?" I ask as she wake up, she takes one look at me and immediately a look of worry comes over her face "cheyrl? are you ok?" she asks me her voice croaky from sleeping. I cant even get any words out, so I lunge at her and place my face on her chest and cry. she gently rubs a hand in circles on my back whispering sweet nothings until I calm down. slowly I loosen my grip on her t-shirt and move my face to look at her "do you want to tell me what happened?" she asks me again, I nod, "I-it was that guy, t-the one that I-I-I s-stabbed and he w-was back he was here and he-he tried to kill me and I couldn't move and you weren't there and I was s-so scared toni" she places her hands on my cheeks "you safe cheryl I wont let anyone hurt you ok? I would die for you because....well because...because I-I" she take a deep breath "because I love you" I smile and hug her again. "girlfriend?" I pull back "yes! omg of course!" she pull me back down to hug her and that how we fall back asleep.
