Hope and Landon: One True Love

Chapter 3: The First Day of School

Hope's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 5:45 and I groaned. Then I turned around and saw Landon. I kissed him softly to wake him up. " Five more minutes." He says in a sleepy tone. " Fine but don't expect me to be here when you wake up." I said joking. " What? No I'm up I'm up." He repeated. " You're such a dork." I said smiling and getting out of my bed. " I know you like it." He said smiling cockily. I walked into the closet and chose to wear a black dress with black leggings. " Do you now, or is someone getting cocky?" I said exiting the closet with a grin on my face. " I guess I got a little cocky. But I also got dressed." He said smiling. " I see. Now what should I give you for a reward on getting dressed. Hmm." I said knowing what he was thinking. " I have an idea." he said walking closer to me, and wrapping his arms around my waist." Do you now?" I said. He nodded, and placed a slow but sweet kiss on my lips. We broke away. " That was..." I was interrupted by knocking on my door." One minute." I yelled. " I'll go hide in the closet." Landon whispered giving me a kiss on the cheek. Once he got in the closet I opened the door, and saw my brother. " Morning Raf." I said smiling. " Morning little sis." Raf said. " So, did you need something?" I asked getting slightly annoyed. " Oh yeah. Mom, dad, and I wanted to apologize about last night we were being unreasonable. Also, you have to be at school at 6:55, because that kid you were training at the Mystic Grille. You have to show him all of his classes. " Raf finished. " First, I accept your apology. Second, I am also sorry I shouldn't have been like that. I just really wanted to see the beautiful lights in the park. Third, tell Mom and Dad that I will be at school at 6:55. Now let me finished getting ready." I said and smiled. " Thank you for understanding everything. I will tell Mom and dad. I am giving Josie and Lizzie a ride to school do you want to join." Raf asked. I thought about then I realized Landon would have to walk by himself, and I couldn't do that to someone I cared about possibly loved

Some people might say how can she love him they just met but ever hear of love at first sight.😄

Back to the story.

Landon's POV
" Thank you for understanding everything. I will tell Mom and dad. I am giving Josie and Lizzie a ride to school do you want to join." Raf asked Hope. She took a while to answer. I wanted to walk with her, and we would be able to talk about stuff, but then again I cared about her possibly more than cared about maybe even loved, and wanted her to ride with her brother so they could bond more and repair their damaged relationship. My thoughts were cut off when Hope spoke up. " I would love to really, but I promised Landon yesterday that I would show him the way to the school." Hope said. I was shocked, and didn't understand she never promised to show me to the school. " Okay, I would be a bad brother if I told you not to keep a promise to a friend, and also I hope I can meet Landon maybe after your shift at the Grille tonight. You, Landon, Josie, and I can meet up at the park I heard that there will be more music there tonight." I was stunned by the words that came out of Raf's mouth even more by what Hope said. " I would love that. Anyways I have to finish getting ready. Tell Lizzie and Josie I'll see them at school during lunch. Bye big bro." Hope said. " Bye little sis." Raf said. I heard the door open and close, then I heard footsteps. Hope opened the door and let me out. She then kissed me it was short but sweet. " Amazing just like before." She said. " I agree, and I don't have any plans tonight just to let you know." I said. She laughed. I loved her laugh it was a cute little laugh. " Sorry I should have asked you." She said and looked down. I pulled her into a hug, and she hugged back. " H.M you have nothing to apologize about. I would love to meet your brother so that way he can see my as a friend." I said trying to comfort her. " This is why you are a good guy. You are so understanding. We need to have a talk when we are walking to school about us. You and me, and what we are." She said. I could tell she was worried if I  would understand " I agree, we kind of jumped into things. I would love to stay like this until we have to leave, but we need to finish getting ready." I  said. " Your right my hair is a mess." She said and ran into the bathroom while I was left outside to make the bed. Yay😒. Five minutes later, hope came out of the bathroom. " Thanks, I  could of helped though." She said smiling. " I know but I wanted to do something nice for you. Besides what are we going to do it is still 6:05?" I asked wondering what she had in mind. " Well the school is 15 minutes away from here. 10 from the park. So if my math is correct. Which it usually is we could leave now and stop for coffee and breakfast at Starbucks, and go to the park for 20 minutes and then start walking to school and be there at 6:46. The nearest Starbucks is 5 minutes away and from there the park is 6 minutes. So do you want to do that?" She asked me. " I would love to do that. Let's go. I will meet you outside, because your brother doesn't know I'm here. See u soon H.M" I said, grabbed by back pack, and went out the window. " See you soon Lan." I heard Hope say
