"Ready to get back into the story?" asked Jane. "Yes mommy" responded Mary.

Jane pick up her story book and continued where she left off.

"I haven't dance in years. I'd almost forgotten the feeling. It's foolish, I suppose...for a creature like me to hope...that one day he might earn your affection" said Beast walking Belle to the balcony. "I don't know" responded Belle feeling unsure. "Really? You think you could be happy here?" he asked. "Can anybody be happy if they aren't free?" she asked. "My father taught me to dance. I used to step on his toes a lot." "You must miss him" realized the Beast. "Very much" responded Belle. "Would you like to see him?" he asked. He brought her to the west wing and showed her his magic mirror.

"I had Forte to compose a song for you but I think this might be better" he admitted. "How does this work?" Belle asked. "You ask it whatever you want to see and it will show you" he instructed. "I'd like to see my father" said Belle to the magic mirror. There was an image of her father being forced into a carriage. "Papa!" yelled Belle. "What are they doing to him? He's in trouble!" The Beast realized he has to let her go.

"Then you must go to him" he told her. "What did you say?" she asked surprised. "You must go to him. No time to waste" he told her. She was going to give back the mirror. "No...you keep it with you. Then you'll always have a way to look back on me" he told her. "Thank you" responded Belle and ran off.
