2. Schedules

   "This building looks way bigger up close " I said awkwardly.

"That's just the nerves talking silly" raven said as she smiled and nudged me with her elbow.

Once we walked in raven got her late pass from the lady at the front desk, and then led me to the room where i would be able to collect my schedule. When we got to the room we were instantly greeted by a bunch of eyes, not like younger looking ones like the ones of students, but ones that looked older by like a decade or two, which means only one thing.....they're teachers.

After a few minutes of awkwardly staring at one another, one lady finally broke the silence and turned all the attention to her .

"How may i help you girls." the short, red headed lady said nicely, causing all the other teachers to nod in agreement and turn their gazes back at us.

I stood there like a deer caught in headlights trying to find the right words to say but lucky for me raven spoke before i could muster any words for myself.

"Hello Mrs. Lopez, i'm here with Rose- what did you say your last name was again?" she asked while turning to look at me.

"Uh knight, like a soldier in the mid evil times type knight." i said quietly so only raven could hear me.

"gotcha." she responded quickly so she could go back to explaining to the lady now known as Mrs. Lopez.

"Okay so Mrs. Lopez i'm here with Rose Knight- a new student might i add-, we came to pick up her schedule, but if you are busy she can just go to class with me and we can come back later." she said with a goofy grin plastered on her face.

"Oh Raven i'm not busy at all, we were just planning a surprise birthday party for principle balding... Now about the schedule." she said with a smile.

When i got my schedule raven immediately grabbed it to see if we had any classes together, which luckily we did.. we only had one class that wasn't with each other. Once she was done looking through my schedule we were off to find my locker. After nearly forever of walking we finally found my locker which was -with no surprise- right across the hall from raven's. I don't know how she didn't notice the locker number and made the connection but its okay, the walk was fun.

She helped me put in my combination because the lock wasn't working with me, i put my books in and waited for her to do the same.

"So... where are we off to now?" i asked in confusion.

"Since we missed like half the day it's lunch time now haha" raven said while laughing.

" Hey uh sorry if i made you miss anything important" i said while looking away.

" Listen you didn't make me do anything... i wanted to, plus its not like i have people waiting for me or something... i'm kind of the school loner here. It was fun while it lasted, Now there are two more classes after lunch and sadly for us your last class of the day isn't with me so you're going to have to survive 45 minutes without me, can you do that" she said with a playful smile.

"yes i can do that, what are you the queen?" i said daringly.

"Gasppp! i'll have you know my dad calls me his princess everyday" she said in a fake mad tone.

"Okay, Okay, i'm sorry. Now where are we going to sit since i'm not hungry, and my feet hurts." i said as we walked in the cafeteria.

"Your apology is not accepted , you're going to have to try a little harder than just a simple sorry you know. " she said as she tries to keep her laughter in.
