Is it easier to stay? Is it easier to go?
I don't wanna know, oh~~~
Ashton spent two days at Sydney's home without leaving the apartment. In fact, it was a struggle for Sydney to make him leave her bed in the morning on the first day.
On the third morning, the two were woken to loud knocking on the door to Sydney's apartment. Ashton groaned into his pillow, lifting the duvet cover over his head. Sydney sat up, glaring at the man.
"I'm cold now!" She protested.
For the past three nights, Ashton had somehow ended up sleeping in Sydney's bed. He would say goodnight to Sydney before going into his own room, an hour later he would knock on her door and climb under her covers. Every night, Sydney would ask him what was wrong, Ashton would reply by telling her that he couldn't sleep, Sydney would ask if he wanted to talk about and Ashton would merely shake his head.
When Ashton didn't reply, Sydney sighed, climbing out of the bed. She shivered when her feet touched the cold floorboards, rubbing her bare arms. Groggily, she stumbled to the door, blinking rapidly to try and clear the sleep from her eyes.
Sydney opened the door to reveal Luke. The tall blonde looked frustrated and impatient.
"What do you want?" Sydney rubbed at her eyes as she spoke, her voice was still rough from sleep.
"You didn't get my text?" Luke looked baffled.
"I was sleeping." Sydney pointed out. "It's early."
"It's eleven in the morning." Luke responded. "We're supposed to be in the studio today!"
"No, we're not." Sydney scoffed. "It's Wednesday today. We're supposed to be in the studio tomorrow."
"Sydney, it's Thursday today."
Sydney's eyes widened as she pulled her phone out of her pocket to check. Shit, it is Thursday.
"Fuck."
Sydney scrambled back into her apartment, running back into her room. Luke followed after her, an amused smile on his face.
"Ashton! Get up!" When Ashton didn't move, Sydney threw a pillow at the man.
Ashton groaned in reply, rolling over in the bed.
"I don't know if it's just me seeing this," Luke spoke from his place in the doorframe, his brow creased in confusion, "but is that Ashton in your bed?"
Sydney quickly turned her head to look at Luke, shock written across her face. The woman had forgotten that Luke was in her apartment, let alone followed her to her room. "Um... I can explain—"
"You didn't sleep with him, did you?" Luke's voice rose in pitch and his eyes squinted in false accusation.
Ashton, having been shaken awake by the sound of Luke's voice, glared at the blond man stood in front of him. "No! Why would she be sleeping with me?"
