Chapter 1
New Recruits"Blair! Get your filthy butt down here or you won't get to the new job interview!"
"OK dude you shouldn't be this excited, just because you're my brother doesn't mean you can get rid of me." Blair obviously corrected.
Sometimes I just wish I was able to make my brother say what he was thinking because no one can tell what he actually was because he always keeps a straight face, so you can't get anything out of it. He practices with me so he can do it later with his friends.
"Sure, just get out the house than i'll mourn for you leaving." The annoying brother Blake said.
"Sure dude, sure."
The only thing keeping me from fulfilling my brothers thoughtful wish, was breakfast. Which even for my brother, I would not skip. Specifically for pancakes so no matter what I would not stop eating it. Unless if it some crisis that depends on the fate of the world. I mean, a wrestler did say that 'Pancake are threatening our existence' so I guess I'll settle for waffles instead. But if I have to not eat it entirely, I'm going sicko mode on everyone trying to influencing me to.
"Hurry up, it doesn't take one hour to eat some pancakes Blair!"
"Sorry if I'm to unique for you to understand!"
"Shut up and eat your pancakes!"
If I had to describe rushing. This definitely would not count as it. The reason is because I never listen to my brother, so I only took thirty more minutes to eat. If you couldn't tell we're twins! I was born a little bit before him so... I win!
I've interviewed for a few things before, like a wildlife center, Park ranger, and even a Janitor. Most of the time I at least know what I interview for, but this time the called themselves "The Hunt" so I don't know what to expect. They even made sure to give me an exact location and time. The only thing that's gonna annoy me: The fact I have no ideas whatsoever this company is about.
Walking down the sidewalks, even was seeming to walk the opposite way. Most of the time I get mentored by people who already work there so it's a little hard to imagine it scaring away people instead of welcoming them. But I rather not think about so instead of forcing it into my mind even more, I simply just let it go.
Ever wonder the possibility of different thing making sense when in reality you can't piece a single part of it together? Well try taking mythology's stuff in college. Well try to think of greek myths as reality. All you come up with is how it relates to everything in the real world right now.
You ever try and describe your thoughts on paper and miserable fail at it? This is my try: vjdnmvgthyuhjfnmdjhfnhdfrey7dsjhuerkjdferuy7sjk7q
Yheufygtghjnhghjcnakeufh. Now you see why I don't ever try.
Back to the actual story, I don't have any way to describe how the work place looked. It literally was a replica of what I typed a little bit earlier. Usually you think of people slowly backing away from these situations. But not me! I'm way too dumb to have that reasonable solution!
Once I walk in, I actually do NOT regret my decision of walking in. The scenery of the place was amazing! Statues of deer and other wild animals stood everywhere. Sometimes it is easier to believe that a place is worse than it truly is made out to be.
¨Are you sure she will help?¨ A man said.
¨Yes, I understand your decision but are you sure it is truely correct?¨ The same man continued.
¨Try making up her for even the shortest amount of time, everything falls apart. And I mean that.¨ Some girl stated.
¨Ἄρτεμις is everything to us! It may surprise you but you're the only boy allowed in the building.¨
The thing that startled me was that the application states that no boys are allowed in the building at all. They make it seem like he is a god for being here. Maybe I should try and run out, or just keep going.
¨You know that what I saw has to come true! If it doesn't the entire world will fall apart. Along with the Hunt.¨ The man stated. To be honest they talk way to highly of themselves. Like if they are wrong, the entire world itself is too. Who thinks like that? Definitely crazy a person.
¨Hello? I came here for the job...¨ Blair crazily walked closer.
¨Sorry but we don't have anything ope-¨ The man was cut off by the other girl.
¨Thank you! I understand this is different circumstances than you are most likely used to but please cooperate!¨ The girl said.
¨I mean, sure? Can't necessarily control that.¨ Blair answered with a confuzzled look on her face. I mean that's what happens to everyone. If you can't deal with hard situations you can't call yourself anything really.
