A/N - Wow... This story is already #5 in the good omens tag... I'll try to keep updating

The three following days Eve would show up t the bookshop. While she did spend time with either Crowley or Aziraphale, which ever was avaliable, she also kept herself busy, with whatever she had brought with her in her bag. The fourth day though, she just stood in front of the shop, eyeing the 'closed' sign. She of course knew the shop keep lived above the shop, with the only enterance being though it. But she didn't know if her was at home. Eve also didn't know she was being watched from across the street. Not by an unfamiliar character, but one she was searching for.

Aziraphale had called Crowley, inviting him to go to Mexico to try some authentic Mexican food. Crowley turned down the offer, but out of habit he found himself outside of his friend's book shop. The demon was not surprised by the arrival of the brunette, but curious about what she'd do next.

Eve decided it was not best to enter the shop without knowing if Aziraphale or Crowley was inside, so she turned to depart, slowly making her way. Crowley got up and followed her, making sure he wouldn't be noticed. Much unlike the girl. Almost every person's eyes fell to the yonge girl, out alone, and on a crutch. Yet none stopped to help. It almost sickened Crowley how little people cared.

Eve came to a bus stop and waited amungst the afternoon rush crowd for the bus to come. As they waited, Crowley couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he hadn't noticed the bouncing umbrella that night. Would Eve still be running from home? Would she be sleeping in the streets? Could she had been killed? He'd gotten to know the girl a bit, she was not the worst human he's ever met, and he couldn't bare to think of her in any of those situations.

The bus arrived and on they all climbed with rest of the crowd. Eve ended up in the window seat in the middle of the bus. Crowley hurries to a few rows behind her, as to keep an eye on her. Eve just stayed on the bus gazing out of the window, stop after stop. People got off and more got on. Soon all the seats were taken.

"Excuse me girl," an old lady gain Eves attention. She looked based the man  sitting beside her, half awake from work. "Get up so I can have a seat."

Crowley couldn't see the look Eve was giving the old lady, but he could here her response. "No," she said simply, with a hit of annoyance in her voice.

"Don't you know to respect your elders!?" the old lady yelled, creating a scene. Now more than just the demon was watching the interaction.

Eve looked back at the old lady, with an even more annoyed look than before. "Why should I give my respect to someone who has not earned it?" she asked simply. "You don't have a Cain or walker anyways, you can stand."

Everyone was watching the interaction, including the bus driver who looked just about ready to get involved. Before he could the office worker came in. "Have my seat," he offered, either trying to be a nice person, as he could see the cast on Eve's leg, or just wanting to stop the conflict and get the bus movie.

The old lady turned and gave the man a smile, "Keep your seat youngan, it's obvious you've been working all day, have the energetic little one get up," she said. She must have thought thean and Eve had be related in some one.

"Gril, just get up and give the lady your seat," the bus driver called back, getting fed up with how long it was taking.

Eve shakily stood up, tucking her crutch under her arm and glaring up at the bus driver. "So the lazy are more important than the injuried," the girl hissed, or sobbed, it was hard to tell if it stemmed from anger or hurt. Murmurs started coming from all corners of the bus.

Crowley side and stood up, annoying the old man reading the news paper next to him." Kid, "Crowley called out to Eve. Her fave lit up at the sight of him." We're getting off. "He scooped her up lik he had multiple time before and carried her off the bus. "These people don't know how to even be decent," he scoffed as he walked down the aisle, adding to the show the kid previously made. He honestly found it quite entertaining. He could barely bring himself to bring mayhem to the already chaotic public transport.

" We're you following me Mr. Crowley? " she asked as he sat her back down on the ground, once away from the busy bus stop.

He glared down at her through his sun glasses. "Can't I take the bus?" he asked, denying the truth, that she had found out. "And I told you, no Mr. Doesn't suit my style."

"Sorry," Eve apologized, "Where's Mr. Aziraphale?" She asked the questioned that was weighing on her mind.

Crowley sighed, "Taking a little trip, he'll be back tomorrow." He knew the angel well enough to know he'd make a whole day trip out of food. "I'll take you home."

Eve stopped in her tracks. "I don't want to go home..." she confessed, "All Granny dose is hell at me and cough. I just sit alone in my room."

Crowley sighed at the sight of the dejected look on her face. "I guess we can go to my flat," he sighed, not wanting to put the girl in a situation she didn't want to be in. "You can help me water my plants."

Eve perked up and rushed to keep up with the demons long strides. "I thought you lived with Mr. Aziraphale?" she wondered.

Crowley chuckled, "Why would make you think that rediculous thought?" He picked up the girl once again, never to fond of how slow she goes.

"Aren't you two dating?" she questioned, causing a blush to appear on the demons face.
