My mother always told me, "what looks good to you, isn't always good for you." At the ages of 9, 12, and 13 I never knew exactly what she meant by that. Hearing it all the time one would think I'd catch on. But, I was still absolutely clueless. What could possibly come into my life that wasn't good for me despite it's intoxicating look? That much I was curious to know. It had to be a deeper meaning to it though. Almost like she knows somethings coming, but warning me to be cautious. Apparently whatever it was that wasn't good for me was coming my way whether I was ready for it or not.
