I look through my closet, trying to decide what dress I should wear for tonight. Billie and I decided we should go to her friend's party, since we never really go to parties. It's not that we hate them, we'd just rather spend time with each other, alone, instead of being at a party with a bunch of random drunk people.
I decided on a tight black dress that hugs all of my curves, and ends just below my knees. I put on some black heels. After curling my hair and doing my makeup, I grab my stuff and walk downstairs.
"Okay baby, I'm ready, let's go." I say and she stands up from the couch. Billie whistles as she looks me up and down and licks her lips, making me blush.
She walks up behind me and wraps her arms around my waist. "You look really beautiful mamas." She says. "Thank you." I say turning around and giving her a quick peck on the lips.
We walk out of the house and get in the car. It takes about five minutes for us to get there since she doesn't live that far away.
We pull up to the house and see a lot of people outside and inside the house drinking and smoking.
We both roll our eyes, knowing that we both preferred to be home alone. But, it's her friend's birthday, and she should be there for her.
We get off the car and walk into the house with our hands intertwined. We walk in and greet the birthday girl and a couple more of her friends. Every time she introduced me to someone else, I could feel them staring at me, which made me kinda uncomfortable. And every time that happened, Billie would hold my hand a bit tighter.
After a while, we went to a corner of the house where no one really was.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick, okay? Stay right here, I don't wanna lose you." She says and I nod. She gives me a peck on the lips and leaves. I stand there alone, probably looking like a lost puppy without Billie.
I pull out my phone and scroll through my social media for about a minute until I feel somebody bump into me from behind.
"Oh my god - I'm sorry." The girl says and lightly laughs.
I turn around to look at her. "Oh no, you're fine." I say with a smile, letting her know it's okay.
"You here by yourself?" She asks.
"No, I'm actually here with someone." I reply.
"Well I don't see that 'someone' around, so maybe I could slide you my number." She says and winks at me. Before I can even respond, I hear another voice speak up.
"You see her now." Billie says, making us both turn our heads towards her.
The girl laughs in response. She turns her attention back to me. "Well I'm sure I could please you better than she can. You sure you don't want my number babygirl?" She asks again.
"Yes, I'm sure." I say quickly, which made her leave. Billie rolls her eyes, and she grabs my hand, and drags me out of the house, to the car.
As soon as we get in the car, Billie begins driving home. The ride home was silent, which never happens, so I know she's upset now.
We get off the car and walk into the house. She goes straight to our room. I huff in annoyance and follow her up. I take off my heels and change into comfy clothes. Billie just lays on the bed on her phone the entire time.
I lay next to her and look at her. "Billie talk to me, I miss your voice." I whine, trying to get her to speak to me. She ignores me and continues on her phone. "Please Bil, say something."
"You want me to say something? You should be apologizing right now for letting that hoe flirt with you!" She says, angrily.
"What the fuck are you talking about? When she asked for my number, I rejected her." I say. Billie just looks at me seriously, with no emotion in her face, waiting for me to say something else.
"C'mon, you can't seriously be mad at me, you know it's not my fault that girl flirted with me." I say, trying to make her understand. She looks at me, sighs, and sits up.
"I know it's not your fault, I'm just upset. Sorry for acting like it's your fault." She says, looking down at her hands while she plays with her rings. I put my hand under her chin and lift her head up so she looks at me.
"You have nothing to be upset about, I rejected her." I say and move my hand up to caress her cheek with my fingers.
"Yea, but ugh, I just get jealous, I can't help it. This is the hardest part about having a beautiful girlfriend, is people always flirt with you." She says, making me softly smile. "If I'm being honest, I'm just worried you'll find someone better than me." She says quietly.
"I'm never gonna find someone better than you mama, cause that person doesn't exist. Seriously, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. You have all the perfect qualities I would want in a girlfriend. I fall in love with you over and over again everyday. You make me feel butterflies in my stomach just by looking at me. I know nobody else could make me feel that way, besides you." I say, and kiss her temple. She cups my cheeks and kisses me on the lips.
"You're so cute. I really can't blame that girl for flirting with you, you looked so hot in that dress you were wearing." She says and smirks. I smile, "I love you".
"I love you more baby." She responds.
