Trigger Warning : Mentions panic attack
Don't know if I have to put a trigger warning for that but I'm gonna do it anyway just in case asdjajqhdjid
"Billie, you're on in 2!" I hear some guy say and he walks away.
I see Billie's leg bouncing up and down while she nervously plays with her rings.
"Baby, don't be nervous. It's going to be fine." I tell her as I grab her hand. "You've played in front of crowds before." I say.
"Yea, but never a crowd this big. I mean this is insane, I don't know if I can do it." She says.
"Of course you can baby, don't doubt yourself." I tell her calmly. She opens her mouth to say something but gets cut off by the guy telling her to go on stage already. She gives me a quick peck on the lips.
The crowd roars as Billie walks on stage.
"How's everyone doing tonight?" Billie says as the crows roars again. I see Billie's eyes move left to right, scanning the crowd. I can see in her eyes that she's starting to get worried.
"Bad Guy" starts playing and Billie just stands there. I notice her chest rising up and down rapidly, as she begins to breath faster and tears swell up in her eyes. She begins shaking. Before she even starts singing she says "Fuck I can't do this." and runs backstage towards me and Finneas follows after her.
She runs straight to me and wraps her arms around me. I hug her back tightly and she begins to have a panic attack. Her breathing becomes more rapid like she can't breath and she begins to cry.
"Billie, hey, don't panic, I'm right here. C'mon lay down real quick." I say grabbing her hand and leading her to the couch quickly.
"Can you grab her a water bottle Finneas please?" I say looking at him. He looks at me with worried eyes and nods.
"Billie, try to calm down for me mama. Breathe baby, breathe." I say inhaling through my nose and exhaling through my mouth, as she does it with me. I hold her hand tightly.
"Close your eyes, go to your happy place baby." I say and she nods, closing her eyes and leaning her head back as she begins to calm down.
Finneas comes back and hands me the water. "Thanks." I say, taking the water from his hands. He backs away, trying to give her space.
After a couple of seconds she opens her eyes again. "Drink some water mama." I say softly. She grabs the water and drinks some.
"I can't do this, I can't perform in front of all of those people." She says.
"Yes you can, Bil. You're just putting that thought into your own head. It's the same as other shows you've done baby, just more people that's it. You can do it, just believe in yourself. Everyone out there loves you Billie, and they're so excited to see you. After this, you'll feel like you can perform in front of any crowd, no matter how big or small. You can get over your fear right now baby. Do it for those fans out there who love you, for me, and for yourself." I say calmly. She nods and hugs me tightly again.
"Thank you. I love you." She says and gives me a kiss.
"Of course baby, you're gonna do great and I love you too." I say and wipe all her tears away.
"You can do it." I tell her seriously.
"I can do it!" She says happily, gaining more confidence.
"That's my girl! Go out there and amaze the crows with your talent mama." I say giving her one last kiss before she runs back on stage with Finneas.
"Sorry about that everyone, I just got super nervous. But I wouldn't be up here on this stage right now if it weren't for my girlfriend, Y/N." She says looking over to me as I smile. The whole crowd cheers and she begins performing.
