Chapter 9

I decided to do what I normally do . Until it was time to eat and I vomited all the food, and I just knew that it was that time.

My period really gets me sick . I don't know if I'm the only one. I vomit, have severe pain in my abdomen and also have a running stomach.

When it has started you just see. My cousin saw that I wasn't alright anymore. So he asked me what was wrong but I didn't answer him. He saw that I was suffering and he didn't know what to do, he decided to call Blessing and tell him that I am sick. He knew for a long time that the was something going on between the two of us even though I didn't tell him.

When he called he told him that he wasn't at home and he should go and tell his mom. When my cousin told me I was like what the heck, he didn't even ask to talk to me. What would telling his mom do because it will just make things worse? His mom didn't know that the was something going on between us or was going on. So telling her to come to see me will just raise questions.

I didn't want to hear his name anymore nor see him again. I guess the state I was in also affected the decision.

In the evening, Lucky decided to say hi.

"Hey, how are you?

I am not feeling good. 

"What's wrong?

Its that time of the month and I am experiencing pain in my abdomen.

" that's not good, can't  you takes some pills".

I don't like pills and I don't have any.

" what  do you normally take".

I drink rooibos tea without milk.

Okay can you stand up?.

Not really, when I stand the pain becomes severe.

"Eish I wish I was there to make it for you".

And then while we were talking he disappeared. I won't lie that made me sad. Talking to him took my loneliness away. I felt important again. He made me feel important. Just him saying those words "I wish I was there to make it for you" showed me that he cared. I couldn't help but feel a bit loved.
