Chapter 15

I woke very early and cleaned the house , made sure it was spotless. My granny woke up after me and got ready.  She said she didn't want to struggle for buses when she arrives in Swaziland.  Usually, when you travel late the buses that go to my granny's place become scarce. So you have to make sure that you wake up early when you know you have a journey ahead of you.

My aunt and uncle also woke up and got ready.  Luckily I was done when they woke up. I don't like people moving around while I am cleaning.  Yeah, I am that type of a person.

When they were done , my granny said her goodbyes and they left. It was sad to see my granny go. She's like my mother and when I am away from her I miss her so much.

Anyways I shot Lucky the location and waited for his response.  Eventually, he responded. He said that he was coming out of the house. As soon as I the text I quickly went to the bathroom to take a bath. Luckily my cousins went to school, so it was just me.

I quickly got out.  Usually, I take my time when I am in the bathroom but today I didn't.  I went to the cardboard and looked for something nice I can wear. Something that says I am not lazy but also says I am not putting in a lot of effort. Finally, I found the exact thing I was looking for, some blue jeans and a white t-shirt, Simple.  I put it on, sprayed some perfume on and after that, I knew I was ready.

I went to the kitchen to check if the was something to offer him . Luckily the was. Then I sat on the sofa and waited anxiously.

Then he shot a text . " I think I am close, I'm going to be there soon". Suddenly the was a little bit of fear mixed with anxiety. I don't know why but I couldn't help it ( Fulfilment calm down. Deep breaths in and out) I told myself. Then I felt better.  I heard a knock on the door. 

Who is it?.

" Its me Lucky ".

Okay I will be there in a minute.  I stood up, fixed myself then ran to look myself in the mirror one more time before coming back and opening it.

"Hi".

Hi please come in .

"Thank you"

You may have a sit .

"Thank you. Your aunt and uncle have a nice home".

I thank you in their behalf. So what shall I offer you, juice or water?

" Water will be just fine".

I don't think you can eat muffins with water. By the way, do you eat muffins?

" Yeah I do why wouldn't I.  Who doesn't eat muffins?  And why did you ask me if I wanted water if you knew you were going to offer me muffins?

Haha I was just making sure. So juice and chocolate muffins coming your way.

" So you all alone ?"

Yeah like I told you,  my aunt and uncle drove granny to Joburg and the kids are in school.

" I see".

Here you go your juice and muffin.

"Thank you "
