My aunt, the kids and my uncle were going somewhere, so they decided to drop me at Shoprite since I told my aunt that I was going to meet Lucky. I waited for five minutes then he showed up, I was happy not only to see him but because I didn't get to wait for long. I don't like waiting. I ran straight to his arms. His hug felt like home.

"How are you, my queen?"

I am wonderful and how are you?

"Well, now that I am with you I am great. "

Really ( blushes).

"Yes really. How about we catch a taxi?"

Yeah, let's do that.

We went to wimpy since you could use their wi-fi for free. We ordered a burger accompanied by potato chips and a cold drink. I didn't enjoy my burger, the sauce wasn't nice but I just loved spending time with him. The problem with my laptop couldn't be fixed but it still didn't matter because I got to spend time with him.

it was getting late and so we decided to head home. But while we were in the taxi he decided that he was going to go with me so he can meet my aunt and uncle. At first, I thought he was joking but he was damn serious. This made me happy and scared at the same time because I didn't know how they will react, are they going to grill him with questions? are they going to tell him to stop seeing me? those were the questions playing in my mind.

We got to the house. I went in first and told my aunt he was outside and my aunt said I should let him in. Once he got in Aubutrika shouted to Fulfilment's friend. In my mind, I was like this little nigga is going to make them see that he has been here before, I called him quickly to the kitchen and reminded him that he mustn't say anything about Lucky being here before. And he agreed to it.

My aunt called me and told me to make him something to eat. I went back to the kitchen and plated chocolate muffins since the was no cooked meal and KFC that my aunt bought when they were out.

"So Lucky are you serious about my daughter here?" my aunt asked.

I only have good intentions for your daughter ma. When I saw her I was like she is the most beautiful person I have ever met and from that moment I couldn't forget about her.

"(smiles) Oh okay that is nice to hear. Well, I wanted to see you because I am so protective of her so I wanted to see the person who she spends most of her time with nowadays. I wanted to warn you to not play with her heart otherwise you will have to deal with me."

I promise I won't do that ma. She means the world to me.

"it is good to hear that coming from a young man, these days young men just want to play around, get a girl pregnant and just leave her like that. But I can see that you only want what is good for her, which is only what we ask of you to take care of her."

I will uncle.

"And you better give me my cows(laughs)."

I will do that ma. Once I am good and have secured the bag, I will.

"Hahaha okay mkhwenyane. What are you busy with right now?"

Well at the moment I am studying music.

"Oh, that's nice. And who are you staying with right now?"

I stay with my mom. But go and visit my dad now and then. I think it's is getting late now, I am afraid my mom will get worried.

"it is okay mkhwenyane, you will come to visit us again right?

I will definitely do that ma. it was very nice meeting you.

I will see him out, aunt.

"Okay but come back quickly."

Okay, aunt.

With that, we were out the door. Aubutrika shouted, "please come back so you can play shadow fight with me Lucky." Lucky shouted back "okay my boy I will." A smile spread across my face seeing how nice he is to him, that told me something.

"Now that we are outside, I was meaning to ask what mkhwenyane means."

Haha, you were busy agreeing to something you don't know. Anyways it means son-in-law.

"Hey don't laugh at me, I couldn't embarrass myself. But anyways now I know."

Yeah. So were you scared?

"A little bit. Your uncle was the one that gave me some chills."

Really? he is a chilled guy. The one you should have been scared of is my aunt.

Nah I find your aunt to be cool. I guess your uncle scares me because he doesn't talk much. So most of the time I don't know what he is thinking.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I must go back before my aunt starts making assumptions and saying I don't want to respect her.

"Okay, my queen. I am glad I did this though, even though it was scary, they turned out to be some cool people."

Yeah, I guess my aunt likes you. That is why she didn't give hell because she can be something else sometimes.

"Obviously, I am a likeable dude."

Yes, mam(smiles). Okay, go back babe before you get into trouble. Come on give me some sugar.

Mmm okay(pouts) I miss you already.

His kiss took me out of this world to his. I couldn't think of anything but what was standing in front of me and the way my heart was beating it was like it wanted to jump out of my chest and run to his. His hug made me want to stay in his arms forever. it was like home, warm and comfy, in that moment I wished I could control time. I watched him as he disappeared around a corner. Part of me wanted to run after him, he was becoming my home, my world. But my brain reminded me that if I do so I will become homeless, you know how your aunt is, that was my brain warning me. So I listened to it and headed to the house.
