Chapter 24

Evening came and I couldn't wait to go lay in my bed and play the memories of what happened today freely in my head because even when I was busy with whatever, I would find myself caught up in them and smiling alone.

If I wasn't alone in that kitchen washing dishes they would have caught me that something was going on. 

Finally I had finished everything.  I didn't want to watch stories that day. I just went straight to bed.  I slept there with my eyes closed and with every episode playing in my mind. 

I  was disturbed by my phone vibrating.  I  picked it up to see who it was.

" Hey beautiful I hope you arrived safe and I hope you are okay. I hope your aunt didn't have an issue about the time you came back by."

Hey . She didn't and I arrived okay, thanks.

" I am glad you did. I miss you already.  You left your scent here which makes me miss you more. Plus I am alone. My mom decided to sleep at her friend's place."

Ncooh.  I miss you too and am sorry that you have to be alone. Now I wish I didn't have to leave.

" Don't worry its okay . I am used to it."

Oh yeah. I told my aunt that my cousin asked me to come to spend Valentine's day with her and do a sleepover and guess what she said.

" She said yes."

Nope . She said over her dead body.

" She said over her dead body , damn that's harsh. I am heartbroken now."

Haha got you . I am kidding.

" Don't play like that . Never play like that you gon' kill a nigga."

Haha . I'm sorry.

"  Okay but don't play like that ever again ".

Haha okay I won't  I  promise. 

" Okay.  So she said yes."

Yeah she did.

" yes yes! yes!"

Hahaha are you screaming right. I would love to hear you screaming.

" Haha I am whispering "

Oh really and what are the exclamation marks for.

" Oh those , they are just for decoration. "

Haha you lying. Admit it you did scream.

"Okay okay I did but just a little bit. It wasn't a scream."

Okay I hear you Mr loud and clear . I am kind of tired from all this walking so my eyes are starting to betray me.

"Okay my queen you can sleep. Goodnight I love you. "

Oh my did he just say " I love you" . Oh my, he did. The is no way I am crazy this time. The is even evidence.

He said he loves me . Oh my,  I want to scream. Wait why are you screaming fulfilment hold your horses. And why exactly are you screaming? it's not like you love him too or do you? It's just that you don't want to admit it to yourself because you are scared you will get hurt.

Hhhm anyways enough craziness.  Busy here talking to yourself instead of going to sleep. And you have to wake up early tomorrow and prepare Abutrika for school.
