You and me till the end

Chapter 2

Mikey's pov:

It's been 3 weeks since we told her. She's been very quiet, way more than usual. We're all really concerned about her. "Guys I'm scared, Evie has been locking herself in my room for the last few days and she only comes out when we're gone. Harvey told me last night." Rye says. I knew he was stressing about her. She's his baby sister and he would give her the world if he could.

"I'll go talk to her." I said. "You sure?" the guys asks. "I know I'm not Jack guys, but I know how to handle her when she's like this, I've done it before." I say getting up. "Why do you think I have a spare key for your room?" I say getting up.

I managed to get into the room and were now sitting on Rye's bed with Evie.

"What's bothering you?" I ask. "I'm scared you'll guys forget about me on tour, I'm scared Jack will push me away, Rye stop calling me, Brook forgetting I exist, Andy forget I need him in my life, but most of all, I'm scared you'll replace me." she says.

Her words broke my heart. It hurt me to know she thinks I'll replace her. I got up and left the apartment. Rye came running after me trying to stop me. Andy got up and went to Evie and that's all I know.

"What happened in there? You basically stormed out of there." Rye asks. "She thinks I'm going to replace her Rye. After nearly a year of being together she still thinks I'll replace her." I say with a raspy voice. "Because she loves you, she never told anyone this but I know her and how she really feels about you. She's scared Mikey. She's never felt about anyone before like she feels about you. At night when she thinks everyone is asleep, I hear her talk on the phone about you. Saying she knows she probably has no chance with you because she's my sister, but you know what Mikey I don't care if she's my sister. I rather see her with you, knowing she'll be happy and not get hurt again than she being with some jerk." Rye says before leaving.

I went back to the apartment and found Evie in Rye's arms sleeping. 'I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." I say looking at her tear stained face. "Mikey, we all talked, we think you should be honest with her and tell her how you really feel about her and not make her feel like she's just your best friend's sister." Jack said. "She's fragile after what happened in her previous relationship, but yet she's willing to get hurt again for you." Andy said.

Rye didn't once during this conversation take his eyes off her. Like he's scared if he does she'll disappear into thin air.

I got up from the couch and took Evie from Rye after a lot of begging and convincing. I was in Rye's room with her and just sat there with her and held her close to me while she was sleeping.
