Candor or Dauntless (Fourtris Style!)

Love Is An Open Door (That Sometimes Hits You On The Way Out)

AN: Hope you like the title! This will continue with Candor or Dauntless but you will see some romance in the air, but also some awkwardness. Hey, they're all teenagers like us! (I'm 15, so I kinda get how the initiates would feel in this situation)

Christina POV

While everyone was busy watching the girls sing, I noticed something interesting. Pete was practically staring at Ananya while also tryouts not to be noticed staring. Hmmm, and as I turned away, I thought I saw Ryker looking at Brianne tenderly. Looks like we have a couple of lovebirds on our hands. The game is the perfect time for me to play matchmaker (Why deny it? It's what I do!)

Tris POV

As the party came to an end, Zeke got up on the table, and screamed, "Hope you had fun. Now if you don't have a personal invitation from me or Four, scram!"

As everyone hurriedly leaves, (Zeke is one of the best at fighting) the initiates huddle together as we clean up for Candor or Dauntless. We all sit in a circle next to our significant others. The initiates sit next to their friends. Ryker stayed because he's a friend of Uriah's, being that he's Dauntless-born and knows us already. So did Kira. Christina actually beats Uriah to it, and starts off the game by asking Ryker (?) the question.

Ryker responds, "Dauntless" calmly. He seems at ease unless Brianne looks at him. Then, he starts fidgeting. I wonder...

Christina grins evilly and says, "I dare you to kiss the girl you like most in this room".

Ryker reddens and gets up and walks over by the other initiate girls. Caylee, Brittany, Ananya, and Brianne are sitting together and are more than a bit stunned that he's walking over to them. With messy black hair, grey eyes, and a tall and lean frame, Ryker is quite the cutie, but I don't see him that way. It's fun to tease him though. He reaches down, cups Brianne's chin, and gives her a sweet kiss, as both of them redden. He goes to pull away, but Brianne reaches up and kisses him on the cheek again. Ananya nudges her on the shoulder and smirks like, "Told ya". That devious little ex-Candor Christina probably had this planned for a while. Ryker sits down and sees Pete silently laughing at him. Ryker smirks and says, "Hey Pete? Candor or Dauntless?"

Pete instantly stops laughing and pales a bit. "Ummmm, Candor?"

Before Uriah can say "Pansycake!!!" I give him a glare and he shuts up.

Ryker shrugs and asks, "Which girl here do you think is the prettiest?"

Pete blushes and mumbles a name. Ryker asks, "I don't think we heard you, Pete. Wanna speak up?" He teases.

Pete whispers, "I think Ananya's the prettiest, alright?"

She stiffens in shock, but starts blushing and looking down. Brianne looks at her like "Who's laughing now?" while Brittany and Caylee are cracking up. She avoids everyone else's gaze as does Peter. Wow, for someone so bold, she sure gets embarrassed when it comes to guys.

I realize Pete has called out Austin for Candor or Dauntless, and Austin has already answered Dauntless.

"I dare you to...go out into the Pit and propose to the first woman you see."

Kira laughs and says, "I'll go to make sure he does it. This I gotta see,"

A few minutes later they come back in, Austin just smiling, and Kira bright red.

I asked what happened and Austin shrugged and said, "When I walked into the Pit, I closed my eyes and turned around. She was the first woman I saw, so I proposed"

Kira darkens even further while everyone else, including myself burst out laughing.

That really backfired. Bad.
