16 | reunion

i thought i would move on fast, but it wasn't as easy. renjun broke up with me because he knew i still liked seungmin, but it didn't mean i could go ahead and keep liking seungmin, that's like having a hopeless crush.

i guess it showed on my face that i was stressed, because seungmin seemed to be getting annoyed at my attitude at our last photoshoot.

"winter break is coming soon, let's focus," seungmin said.

after we finished, chaewon and i congratulated seungmin for completing his photography project and he thanked us for being the models.

"minjoo," seungmin said, once chaewon left and i was about to leave. "you're going, right?"

"going where?" i asked.

"the tour group reunion."

"oh, yeah," i nodded. "are you?"

"yeah."

i was still gloomy once winter break started, but i was excited to see my friends from the group tour after christmas.

on the day we were to meet, i ended up riding the train with seungmin to our destination.

it was a very quiet train ride. i missed the days when we used to be close friends... now we were really awkward when it was only the two of us.

after we got off the train, we took a taxi to the guesthouse that everyone was going to stay at for the next few days.

we were a bit later than everyone else, so when we rang the doorbell, they all came rushing to the door.

"unnie!" somi yelled, attacking me with a hug. "i missed you so much!"

"me too!" i said.

somi, hyunjin, felix, jisung, dahyun, chaeyoung, and chan all greeted us with bright smiles and big hugs.

"so, how've you been these days?" somi asked as i unpacked my luggage in the bedroom i was going to sleep in.

"good," i kind of lied.

"wait a minute," somi smirked. "are you dating seungmin?"

"no?"

"aw," somi said. "then anyone else?"

"actually, i dated someone for a month and we broke up last week," i said.

"what?" somi shouted. "are you okay?!"

i shrugged, continuing to unpack my luggage.

the nine of us decided to eat lunch out at a restaurant, and ended up sitting in between somi and hyunjin.

"how's it like attending the same school as seungmin?" hyunjin asked me.

what do i say?

"um, we're not in the same class, so we're not that close," i said.

"huh? but you're still friends, right?"

i glanced at seungmin across the table, talking to chan.

"i don't know," i shrugged.
