"I wonder where Jaz is," someone said, while I went into the dining room. "I mean, she is never this late to breakfast."

"Why don't you ask her, yourself?" I asked, still annoyed with my mother. I couldn't believe that Mom was making me do this. However, I was going to humor her and if Blake wanted me to keep dressing like some... bimbo, then he can just suck my ass. I wasn't going to dress like this for the rest of my life. If that meant that I had to knock him out 'till next week, then so be it, I'll do that.

16 heads turned in unison and looked at me. There were a lot of frowns on their faces. However, some people knew that it was me, and there were a couple of snorts. A couple grinned, because they knew that my mother had put me up to it.

Jo Anna, being the one that acted as if I wasn't her Alpha, frowned. She looked me up and down, not showing any respect, while she met my green eyes in challenge. "And what do you mean?" she asked, coldly. "You are not our Alpha. Jaz wouldn't wear that." She gestured to my outfit. "So, don't play the Alpha card on me."

"She would be dressed like that, if her mother had told her to, Jo," Faith growled. "Respect your Alpha, Jo Anna, or do you want to face me again?"

Jo turned to look at her before she turned back to look at me. She opened her mouth to retort, before I growled and showed a little bit of my Alpha power. This made the other Wolves cower a little and show their necks in submission to me. However, Jo did not do that, but she looked at me wide eyed.

"You were saying?" I asked, dangerously, waiting for her to do something that would count as a challenge. "You should listen to Faith. She knows that it is me because of my scent and power. That doesn't change. Now does it, Jo Anna?"

Jo Anna quickly looked down and showed her neck in submission. "N-n-no, Alpha," she said finally, stuttering. "I-I didn't mean to show disrespect. I was only... confused."

I raised an eyebrow. "Confused on what?" I growled. "I am not in the mood for you to go all bitchy on me. Mom's making me do this, and Faith is right. Mom did make me wear this outfit and took all of my normal clothes away." My face darkened, as I thought of all those skirts, blouses, and dresses that she wanted me to wear, even when it was cold outside.

The good thing was, Werewolves didn't get cold very easily. So, I should be able to survive the coldness of Maine. However, humans needed to think that we were human and that wouldn't work if we wore shorts, flipflops, and T-shirts in the middle of the winter, in the snow.

Jo Anna whimpered and didn't meet my hard gaze. "I-I'm sorry, Alpha."

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, annoyed. "Whatever," I replied. I clapped my hands, getting everyone's attention. "All right, let's go. The bus is here."

"Aren't you going to eat anything?" Katie asked, with a small laugh of amusement in her voice.

I shot Katie a menacing look before shaking my head. "I'm not hungry," I said, as I turned away from the dining room and started to walk towards the front door. I grabbed the coat that my mother had gotten from me, scowling at it. I looked at the jacket and to see that it wasn't leather, but a fancy jacket with fur on the hood. She even changed my backpack!

Oh my gosh! My 19th birthday couldn't get here any sooner.

I stalked onto the bus and sat down in my seat. I was still in a grumpy mood, since I had to wear this stupid skirt. I had gotten a weird look from the bus driver, but he didn't say anything. He knew what my mother was like. If Mom wanted something to change, then it was going to change no matter what anyone else said.

"Relax," Kate said, sitting down behind me. "It's only for a little while."

I turned around and glared at her. "I don't care," I said with a small growl. "And I can't believe that you got Dad into it. You knew that he would side with her."

Kate shrugged her shoulder. "If Blake doesn't like it, then he can order you not to wear it."

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Don't remind me. We're going to be joining packs soon, and I don't want to give up my position."

Kate smirked and looked at the window. "Speaking of Blake... here he comes. Let's see how he will react to your new due."

I rolled my eyes and turned to look out the window at the other pack. My eyes narrowed a little, wondering how Blake would react when he saw me. I knew that he wouldn't recognize me, that was for sure.
