I walked into the house and instantly heard growling and yelling coming from members of my pack. A frown appeared on my face, because I had no idea what they were arguing about now. It didn't take a genius to figure out that whatever it was had to do with the pack in general.

Quickly, I made it to the dining room and saw that it was Faith as well as Jo Anna that were arguing. Faith was about to lunge at Jo Anna, and it was no joke that Jo Anna had pushed her over the edge.  A frown appeared on my face when I saw that they were arguing and I thought that it was probably about something stupid.

"Oi!" I exclaimed, startling them both out of their argument. I frowned when they turned to look at me, Faith was the only one that bowed her head in respect. I growled softly at Jo Anna, causing her to bow her head.  "What the hell is going on?" My voice was hard, because this was the last thing I needed.

"We were wondering where you were at," Faith replied. She glared at Jo Anna. "Jo Anna was not really caring about where you were at, and I find it kind of rude, since you are her Alpha."

I frowned and turned towards the 16 year old female. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow because I didn't know where this disrespect was coming from. "You didn't want to come find me, even though I am your Alpha. Is that what I'm hearing, Jo Anna? You have been here for 8 years now, so I should know where your respect lies."

Jo Anna frowned and looked dismissively away from me. She folded her arms across her chest and stuck her nose up in the air. "And, you are from a different pack," she replied. "A pack that had been our enemy."

I narrowed my eyes and couldn't help but growl slightly. "And what do you mean by that?"

"You were from the Sperantú pack before this." She looked back at me, meeting my gaze.

I growled softly, causing her to move her eyes in a different area. I clenched my jaw, feeling my anger about to spike. "And, we have been set up to join the packs together. That is why both the children of Sperantú and the Bucurie are in both packs." I gave her a look, making her frown. "Don't tell me that you still hate being here."

"And if I do?" she sneered. "What are you going to do about it?"

I smirked. "I'm sure that Alpha Shammon would love to hear that you are having second doubts," I replied. I glanced at my nails before looking back up at her. "I mean, he and my father were the ones that had to listen to Mr. Ranalde about the pairing."

Jo Anna frowned and furrowed her brows. "Well, I wish he had chosen someone differently," she replied with a humph. "You are just not strong enough to take care of this pack."

"Oh, I beg to differ," I replied with a laugh. "I have beaten all the members of this pack in wolf and human form. The only one that almost beat me was Faith. That might be because her father had trained her when he trained her brother." I smirked. "If you would like to get beaten again, then let me know. I'll be glad to do it." With that, I turned and walked out of the dining room and going into my room.

My whole body was stiff, because I did not like the way that Jo Anna seemed to find everything wrong with me. It was as if she didn't care about me, even though I had been her Alpha. I snorted and rolled my eyes, knowing that I was going to have to talk to everyone and see how many people had felt the way she did.

I pulled on a different shirt and some leggings before going over to my bag. I knew that no one would try to disturb me, so I didn't have a problem with anyone trying to see the book that I had obtained from my grandfather. I grabbed the book and made it to my bed, curious as to what I was.

I flicked open the book and frowned when I saw that it was in a different language. "This sucks," I groaned, leaning my head against the wall. I shook my head and sighed while I started to flick through pages, hoping that something would be in English. However, nothing was and that caused me to groan.

A small light appeared on my my forearm, where my mark was. My eyes went wide when I saw that the writing started to glow. "Ok, that is not freaky," I muttered under my breath while I moved to the first page and saw that it was actually in English. "And now I can read it." I glanced at my mark. "There better be a way for me to know what I am in this."

And with that, I started to read the book.
