The next morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I had a stiff neck because i fell asleep on my desk. What a weird dream I thought to myself. Then all of a sudden Cole walked into my room.

"Breakfast is ready!"

I guess it wasn't a dream after all. I got up out of my chair and went to take a shower. While I was in the shower, I recalled what happened last night. We almost kissed! How am I going to face him today?

After my cold shower. I changed and went downstairs to see what Cole cooked. He made sunny side up eggs with bacon and a bagel.

"Where did you learn how to cook?", I asked curiously.

"Since dad is usually busy, I learned how to cook for the times he would come home late."

"Yeah, me too. But I don't have time to cook in the morning. So I would usually just take an apple and buy bread for lunch."

"Well, I'm here so you eat breakfast home.", he said.

Its then and there I noticed how grown up he was. His voice was deep and his face was stern. I felt like a proud big sister.

"Cole?", I asked in a pitiful voice.

"You know you need to call dad and go home, right?"

He dropped his fork and answered without looking at me.

"Yes, I know.., but when I call him,it's to say that I am not going back and I am staying here."

I would've argues with him, but I was running late. I told him we would resume the conversation later and rushed out with my skateboard.

Fast forward

Half of the day had went. It was lunch time. I went to buy some bread. I didn't go to my spot because it was crowded with girls. I went to the classroom to sit at the back of the class, but looks like my classmates decided to have lunch there today. I went outside to look for any available benches, but all were taken. I guess there was only one place left to eat,...the cafeteria. What a pain.

I went to the cafeteria. When I walked in, it seemed like every one was looking at me. I just put my blue hood on and walked trying to be unnoticed to the end of the cafeteria. I sat at an abandoned table that had *Losers table* written on it.

I didn't care. A table is a table. Then I noticed someone sitting at the end. It was Adeline. How did I not see her? I guess she's a master of being unnoticeable. I just ignored her and ate my food with my hood on and head down.

Then I heard some loud, obnoxious giggling. I looked up to see Veronica and he brainless posse. I guess Chess finally chased them off. I stared at them and twitched my eye. I noticed the person they were giggling with was Kai. Poor Kai I thought to myself as I stared at him. He's smiling on the outside but crying on the inside.

Then he looked my way. He smiled and waved. I just averted my eyes and continued to eat. Then all of a sudden I felt someone sot in front of me. It was Kai.

"Hey feisty, ignoring me now?", he said in a mellow voice.

Was he referring to me?

"Who are you calling feisty?", I said In an irritated tone

He just smiled and ignored my question. At this point I was annoyed and left. I got up and walked away. As I walked passed them, Veronica pushed out her foot and I almost face planted into the floor. Luckily I have good balance. I turned around and yelled

"What is your freaking issue!?"

She just ignored me like I was talking to her weave. Now everyone was looking at me but I didn't care. I touched her shoulder and she skimmed around and threw a cup of ice cold orange juice on me. I stepped back a few steps with my hands in the air and my mouth wide open. It was so cold. At this point I was getting ready to pound her pretty little face.

I took if my second favorite hoodie. (Let's take a moment to remember the hoodie. RIP blue hoodie)

Then she finally decided to talk.

"I think you mean what's your issue?"

"What the hell are you talking about!?"

"First Chess now Kai!"

"Can you please say something that makes sense?!"

"What do they see in you? Every time I'm talking to Chess and you walk by he always watches you. Now when I'm talking to Kai he just comes to talk to a loser like you. You just can't be satisfied with one man huh? Your a whore! What don't they see in me."

"Okay, first of all I'm not a whore. Your the one who is the whore starting this over a man. Second of all, Who says I wanted those idiots! You can have them. There such pains. And lastly maybe they see that you are faker than that blonde weave your wearing!"

Everyone let out a big, "Ooohhhh."

She was clearly embarrassed and she tried to punch me. Her posture was of an amateur so I dogged it easily, with one eyebrow lifted. She continuously tried to get me but I kept dogging her. I gave up and held her fist as she attempted again.

"Stop, your embarrassing yourself", I said calmly but loud enough for everyone to hear.

I took my drenched jacket and walked out calmly. As I went through the doors , I looked back realizing I caused a big scene. Everyone was looking at me, Including Kai. (Well I did call him an idiot)

The rest of the day went smoothly. Chess and I didn't talk or look at each other the whole day. I guess we were both embarrassed.

I went home that day. No one would talked to me since the cafeteria incident. Did I scare everyone off?

*Score*

Three weeks had passed. I got my bench back and was alone once again...at least I thought so...
