I don't know if i was being paranoid or what, but i think that the car was following me. I tried not to look behind me , but i ended up doing exactly that. I  started to ride faster and the vehicles acceleration increased also. Okay, it was definately following me. I hit the curb and hid behind a bus stop. I peeked from behind and saw the car had driven away. I sighed in relief and got to school as quick as i could.

Surprise came over me when i saw the grey tesla parked in our schools parking lot. I slowly walked towards the vehicle examining it. Who the hell drove this? I shuddered at the thought of a rich, creepy stalker. The bell rang and i quickly ran to class barely making it on time. I panted as i took my seat.

The first thing my eye caught was Chess, looking clad in a leather jacket a white t-shirt and some black jeans. He really did look like a bad boy. Then realization smacked me in the back of the head with a bat. We are supposed to be an 'item.' I really hate that big mouth of mines.

*Later*

Chess and i hadn't spoken a word to each other for the whole day. Don't get me wrong, i love the peace and quiet, it's just that i don't think people will believe we're a couple it we don't speak to each other. Right now it was break time in the evening. I am sitting under my oak tree reading stardust. I've read this book like 4 times already but i still love it. My day was going really good...well except for the stalker this morning. Just when i thought that, i heard an annoying voice i wish i would've never heard again.

"Hey feisty .", he said flashing a pearly white smile and sitting down opposite of me. I looked at him and rolled my eye,"Don't call me that." He just grinned and remained seated quietly. "What are you doing here?", i asked. He didn't answer and just smiled. I narrowed my eyes at him.

He finally spoke. "Just wanted to say hi to my friend thats all.",he said with the smile not moving from his features. My mind replayed the words 'friends' over and over again in an echo. Right, i agreed to be his friend.

"Mhm.",i said as i continued to read my book while sipping on some of the Gatorade i bought from the cafeteria. His next words completely caught me off guard."So i heard your dating Chess Foxworth.", i choked on my gatorade and started to cough. He got up and pat me on the back as i continued to cough.

"Ugh, Umm I'm sorry.",he said. I calmed down. "Don't apologize and yes i guess."i said sheepishly. There was an awkward silence between us. I figured i needed to start being nice to people if all eyes were to be on me at the moment. I don't want to come off as ignorant like Veronica and be hated by people. Don't get me wrong, I'm not letting my guard down. I was so deep in my thoughts i didn't realize Kai was waving his hands in front of my face.

"Uh, yes?",i said as i blinked twice.

"I was asking you if you would, i don't know. ..wanna hang out today after school?",he said while rubbing the back if his head looking down on the table. I thought for a while. I have to practice with Chess after school for two hours.

"Uh, i have to do something after school.",i said. He looked at me with a desolate expression,"If you don't want to hang out just say so. I'm just trying to be a good friend.",he said with an indecipherable expression .

"After i do that thing i need to do, I will be free but it depends, what are we going to do?",i asked curiously.

He looked surprised and immediately answered." Go for coffee or take a walk and you know, get to know each other,.",he stated with a smile.
