I waited at the front of the school for Chess because Ms. Tanaka asked him to stay back after class. As I waited at I received some glares from some girls in my grade. I just ignored them and rolled my eyes. Soon I saw chess walking out from the doors. I let out a small sigh as he approached me. I was shocked when he just walked pass me without even looking at me. I turned to him and watched him walk away. When he was about 20 ft away, he turned around and asked me why I wasn't following him. What's wrong with him, does he think I'm a psychic? How should I know if he wanted me to follow him? I rolled my eyes at my thoughts and followed him.

We walked in silence until he stopped by an ally and walked in. I stood at the entrance and raised an eyebrow as I saw him walk deeper and deeper into the dark alley. I wasn't scared or anything..you know...I was just wondering if he was going to kill me that's all. But is it a good reason to kill someone just for telling a little lie?

I stood frozen in place while the two other different voices in my head had an argument on what I should do next. I was getting fed up so I yelled shut up out loud. Then I realized actual human beings weren't talking. Ugh, come on Avrora get your shit together.

I started walking into the alley. I took notice of my surroundings. There were some rats nibbling at some moldy bread by a garbage can and a stray dog sleeping on an old torn up revolver. I kept walking and walking...this was one long alley, or may be I was walking a bit too slow.

I stopped in my tracks and goosebumps covered my body as I felt something was behind me. I think I already mentioned I have killer instincts so I'm sure I wasn't wrong. I turned around ready to throw a punch, but no one was there. I looked around cautiously,  I usually am not wrong about these things. That's when I heard a faint purr. I looked down to see a black kitten, staring at me with piercing green eyes with its little head tilted.

It came and rubbed it's head by my feet. I picked it up and rubbed the back of its neck. He closed his eyes and purred. He was so cute and his dark coat was so soft. I checked it's neck for a collar and found that his name was sebastian. Then all of a sudden he jumped out of my hands and ran away. I smiled as he disappeard into the darkness, i hope he goed home soon. Then I quickly started to walk again a little faster.

Finally I arrived at where chess was. He was leaned up against a metal door with his arms crossed and eyes closed. I could tell he was impatient because his left foot was twitching. It was a habit of his since he was young. Nice to see at least that hadn't changed.

I approached him and he opened his eyes.

"What the hell took you so long?",he groaned as he leaned up from the wall and glared at me.

"Well, I was calling my brother and mom to tell them I love them before you murder me here.",I said sarcastically.

"If I wanted to murder you i could've done that a long time ago at the field near the lake.",he deadpanned. I just stayed quiet at the thought of that night. He didn't seem like he cared that all that he spilled his heart out to me. "Stop day dreaming and follow me."he said as he opened the door he was previously leaning on.

He walked in and I followed hot on his heels. I could hear the faint sound of music as we walked deeper and deeper into the dark space. It was so dark I could barely see my own hands. I clinged on to Chess' shirt as he walked with ease. He didn't do anything but I could sense his eyes roll and I rolled my eyes as well.

Finally I saw light coming from behind a door after a walk that felt like forever. Chess knocked on the door five times and then someone opened a small rectangular opening in the door. Then Chess said,"Dead men don't speak." In a low and raspy voice that sent chills up my spine.
